printing notes Posted: 23 Oct 2008 10:24 AM |
We are needing to print the medical part of a client's file. Is there any way to print the contact portion of the file with only the medical related appointments (ex: pregnancy test/results and sonogram/results) and only the nursing notes?
We do not want to release the client advocate related appointments or notes.
In the past I have had to export the file summary report into word and then manually delete all of the information that I do not want to send. Please tell me there is an easier way to do this. If not, would you consider this change in a future upgrade? PLEASE??
Thanks,
Threesa
PS. We are also wondering if there is anyway to add our clinic information to the file summary report when it prints. As they print now, when you release a client's record, there is no where on it designating where this record is from. |

Hello threesa!
You can choose which sections that you want to print under the report options of the File Summary Report. You can also choose only to print notes/sections between a certain date range.
If we were to add more choices to this menu, what would you suggest?
Thanks and I hope this helps,

We have tried just printing the contact info and the notes. The problem that we have run into is that if a client were to visit today, she might have notes from her client advocate and nurse on the same date. It would be great if there were some way to have the option of choosing which notes you would like printed.
Example:
10/23/08 Client advocate note
X 10/23/08 Nurse note regarding sonogram
We have a local doctor that requires her patients to submit previous medical records regarding this pregnancy. Since we are a small town, we see a lot her her patients. We have records requested frequently. I just wondered if there was a better way to do this.

Threesa,
Thanks for your idea. I see your point and can see that if we could categorize the notes in different ways, that would be helpful to you. I'll add this to our feedback list and see what we can do.
If we were to categorize the notes, which categories would be helpful?
Bless you,
Tommy |
