Recording dad's participation
Posted: 20 Oct 2008 02:44 PM
Our center is looking for a place to keep track of the dads attending our Parenting education with the mom. I found a place under the concepts shared I thought woud work. I changed the type of support from individual to couple. I can't find any report or statistic that will pull this information. Can you help me with this? Or is there another place I should be recording daddy participation

Hi Leahm,

The best way to track male participation in your parenting education program is to set-up a file for these men and track all the details there. You will do this the same way you set-up files for your female clients. Just make sure to mark the gender as "Male" on the General tab of the client file. You can track your class participation either through the "Group Classes" page or with the Individual Education form.

Then, to track your stats for female/male parenting class participants, all you'll need to do is run the Class Statistic using the measure of "Gender" which will give you numbers for both male and female clients. This measure of "Gender" can be used on all stats, except those that are female-specific (like pregnancy test and sonogram stats).

Hope this helps!
Blessings to you,
Sarah
