Abortion Minded Clients

How do I determine the number of clients who come in AM? Where is the data for the recommended report coming from?

We have some detailed questions about reports that we would like to be able to sit down and talk with you about at CareNet. Would that be possible?

Thanks for all of your support,
Sandi

Hi Sandi,

If you would like the number of clients who are INITIALLY assessed as A.M., you can run the following statistic:

**Pregnancy Test Statistic, using the measure of "Pregnancy Intentions Before Support." If you would like this data separated out by positive & negative test results, you can also use the measure of "Test Rseult" and I would recommend setting the "column 2" measure as test result, and then the "column 3" measure as "Pregnancy Intentions Before Support."

We would LOVE to help you with your report/stat questions, and we would be happy to sit down with you at the Care Net conference to discuss this. However, please don't hesitate to contact us through the forums or by phone if you would like to discuss your questions sooner! We'd love to help you in any way we can!

In Him,

Sarah

Great question. The "Considering Abortion" measure actually compares BOTH the intentions before support AND the intentions after support, so this is auto-calculated for you. A client will be counted in the "consdiering abortion" measure only if their intentions AFTER support are marked as A.M. or A.V. (They LEFT your center center still considering abortion).

So, if what you are needing is just the number of clients who were A.M. or A.V. BEFORE support, your best option is to stick with the stat I described in my previous post.

Hope this helps clarify!Smiley

Good morning!
Yes. The fields that these stats are pulled from (that I described in my previous post) should all be marked with the counselor's assessment of the client.

So glad to help!

Yes, the "Changed Abortion View" stat on the Center Productivity Report is specifically pulled from the Pregnancy Test Form on the fields which ask for the assessment of the client's intentions before and after support (questions #3 and #4 in the Office Use Only section). This stat will automatically separate out your negative & inconclusive test results.

Hope this helps clarify. :)

Pregnancy Statistics Intentions Before Support Positive Tests numbers are lower than Changed Abortion View from Center Productivity Report. How can changed minds be a higher number than abortion minded?

That last question was from me, Sandi Davis. My son had created a name when he was doing data entry here and must have left himself logged in if that is possible. If this feels like it would be better discussed, please call me tommorow between 9-11 and 2-5 EST. Thanks Sandi

Hi Sandi,

I'm a bit confused. Maybe it would be best for us to chat personally? I don't want you to have to post your phone number, so why don't you just call our office at your convenience...the number is (972) 851-1085. We're here 8:30 - 5 CST, M-F. We looking forward to helping you with this! :)

Sarah
