Donor Categories

Hi, I am having an issue with the drop-down "categories" list in the donor's files. Last year during our Walk for Life, I used the drop-down categories list. I added walk team captain, walk for life walker and walk sponser to the list of categories. I did this so it was easy for me to send thank yous and make labels for each group of people. Now I am going back to remove these categories as we will have different walkers and team captains this year. The problem I am having is I can't remove anything from the category list. For some donors, I want to change them back to having nothing in the list checked.
For example if I go to "Jane Doe's" donor file and the team captain category is checked. I want to uncheck it. I go to the category list and uncheck the box and click apply. Then I save the change but when I go back to Jane Doe's file, it still shows the category list of team captain. For some reason it will not save my changes. Thanks for your help |

Hi Leahm,
Thanks for letting us know about this. Another center just notified of this issue also, and we have determined that it is a small bug. We should be able to get this fixed soon, and I will post an update once we do.

I just wanted to let you know that this issue has now been fixed! You can now remove categories. :)
