Prayer Request

Hello Prayer Warriors,
I have a special prayer request today. Yesterday afternoon I had a client with a heavy heart. She is a Christian and she has been told by the doctors that her health will not survive another birth (4th pregnancy). The last pregnancy was very difficult for her health and caused serious harm to her heart.
The doctor told her to get an abortion or die during pregnancy.
This young lady needs our prayer support. She is struggling with this as she has three small children (7, 3, & 1) at home and does not want to leave them motherless. She knows that God can bring her through this, but it weighs heavy on her heart.
She did come in wanting to find someone that could do an abortion. However, I believe she is looking for support. She has already been to her pastor and he and HPC have encouraged her to trust God and that we will all stand by her. Yet still in the back of her mind are her three children that will not have a mother if she does not survive. Her family has condemned her for even thinking of abortion. She does not feel as though she could talk with them through this.
I ask you all to prayer for her as she looks at making this decision. It appears that she knows it is wrong and does not want to do it and is seeking support. She has already been told by the ‘wrong’ people that she can have an abortion and she has been told by the ‘right’ people that she needs to trust God. She is looking for the ‘right’ someone to tell her it is ok to go through with an abotion which of course is not what she will hear from us.
She has an appointment with a high-risk doctor in two weeks. I gave her a referral for another high-risk doctor that I know is pro-life and she is trying to see him sooner.
Pray for a medical miracle and healing of her condition.
Pray for her emotionally as she seeks God.
Pray for family support for her with love and not condemnation.
Pray for the doctor that gave her this advice.
Pray for a high-risk doctor to giver her hope and that he would be able to get her in for an appointment soon.
Pray for those who counsel with her.
Our God is Jehovah-Rophe, the God of healing. Praise the Lord.

Kristi,
First of all, thanks so much for posting this prayer request. It's great to see your heart for the ministry and allow us to join in prayer with you.
This is a seeming impossible situation from our human perspective with two outcomes. But, with God, we know that there is always another option!
Lord, please give Kristi and her staff wisdom about this situation that they continue give loving counsel and support. If it is your will, heal this Mom and let your glory shine through this situation. It is hard sometimes to pray, Lord, but you know all about this situation and you know that little one growing inside of that Mom even now. Lord, your will be done! Look out for that Mom and her 3 little children. And look out for that precious little one, too. We cry out for a miracle that even we can't yet imagine!

Hi Kristi,
Thanks for giving us the privilege to pray for your client. What a heartbreaking situation. I have already prayed for her and will continue to do so. I'm also praying for you Kristi--that the Lord will give you wisdom in how to counsel this client and also that you will have the supernatural ability to love on this client just as Christ loves her and her children.
This is a verse that has come to mean so much to me when I'm facing tough times:
The Lord will guide you always;
he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land
and will strengthen your frame.
You will be like a well-watered garden,
like a spring whose waters never fail.

I just wanted to say thank you for your prayers and for the verse. Scriptures always draws you back to focus on Him and not our short comings.
I have not heard back from this client and she is not answering her phone. I have tried several times to contact her.
Please as God brings her to mind, lift her up in prayer.
