Religion in General Information Section Posted: 11 Feb 2005 11:57 AM |
Can you please change Christian to Protestant in the religion section on the general information tab? We have a number volunteers and staff members who are Catholic and they were a bit offended by the distinction between Christian and Catholic.
Thanks,
Catherine |

None would also be a good option to add. |

Hi Catherine,
I'm sorry if we offended anybody at you center. That certainly is not our intentions. Here's a little history on this:
Originally, we had Christian as an option in the list and did not include Catholic. However, we received feedback a couple years ago from some centers that the lack of Catholic as an option confused a number of Catholic clients. They did not know to select Christian. So religion on a large number of forms were left blank. Because of this, the centers asked us to add Catholic as an option.
With that said, we are considering changing Catholic to "Christian - Cartholic" in the religion list. That way we won't offend anybody, and Catholic clients won't be confused. Is this acceptable to you? Please advise. thanks. |

Hi Brian,
I just spoke to Terri M. and she is asking if we could also add "None" as an option to the religion section. Some of the clients that come in feel that they don't have a religion, but don't consider themselves "Atheist". |
