group captains

We are entering our pledges for our golf outing. First we entered all the group captains as we have in the past. When we enter a new pledge when select 2008 golf outing it is saying that there are no group captains listed. What are we doing wrong.

Hi Marilyn,
Hmmm...you may not be searching for your group captains correctly. If you want to see a full list of all your group captains--from the "add sponsors" screen--you can click the small down-facing arrow in the "Group Name" field. If you click on top of this small down arrow, your entire list will load and you can select the name you want. You can also search using this field as well....however, make sure to search for the "Group Name" and NOT the "Group Captain" name. These are actually filed under the "Group Name." See the "Groups" tab in your event to find out how your "Group Names" are set-up.
Here's an example. Let's say you have set-up a Group Name as "Miller golfer 1" and the Group Captain name is "Sarah Miller." Under the Sponsors tab, when selecting the "Group Name" you could type in "Miller" and it would pull up "Miller golfer 1."
