Appointment Names Changing Improperly

This issue happens very randomly. It occurred 3 times last week and twice this week and numerous time before that.
When we review the schedule to make sure that we have marked either 'No Show' or 'Show' we are noticing that a client name has been changed to "Unknown, unknown". At first we thought one of our users was doing something wrong and we have re-educated our users but the issue is still happening. It is very random and happens with all catogries of appointments. The two we found today showed an update time at 8:05 AM on 4/10/08. That is before we get into the office. We were able to fiqure out the name of one of the appointments but not the other.

Has anyone else reported a similar quirk? Do you have any suggestions as to what might be happening? or what we can do?

Thanks,

Hi suecrone,

Hmmm, this is very bizarre. No, we have not heard of this issue from any other centers. Where do you see this "update" time--is it at the bottom of the General tab? You said that the "update time" was before your staff was even in the office....is it possible that someone has access to your database that should not? I think a great place to start would be to update all of your passwords immediately. Also, under the Administration tab, you can possibly check to see which user id logged in early this morning...until you figure out who is changing this information, it's probably a good idea to keep close tabs on who is logging in when...maybe you could check this first thing every morning.

These are just some thoughts. Please keep us posted if you continue to have this problem.

Thanks,
Sarah

Sarah, The time is at the bottom of the general form it says "Last updated:" and gives a time.

I will check the admidistration section for login times and keep you posted if I find anything.

Thanks for your quick response.
