Client Program Statistics Posted: 08 Apr 2008 04:14 PM |
Hi-
We recently started using the Group Classes forms to track our parenting and childbirth class attendance. Clients who were entered in a group class form should show up in the Client Program Statistics form...but only 3 of the 12 or so clients that are in the class are showing up in the Client program Statistics report.
Any ideas?

Hi Munchkin,
The Client Program statistic is probably not the best stat for analyzing class attendance. This Client Program stat is designed specifically to track ceratin numbers that Care Net requires their affiliates to keep track of (see questions #7-18 on the Care Net report). This stat is pulled from 3 sources: Group Classes, Concepts Shared, and Individual Education. With the way that this stat is designed to calculate, if the same client attended a program for 1 or more class or concept shared, the client is only counted ONCE.
The stat that will probably better suit what you are wanting to track is the "Class Attendance Statistic." This will give you numbers of how many clients actually attended each of your classes (and you can analyze group and individual classes separately).
I hope this will help fix your problem, but please let me know if you have any other questions! :)
In Him,
Sarah |

Hi Sarah,
I understand that this program only tracks the number of individual clients- that's what I'm looking for specifically in this case. The problem I'm finding is that the report is telling me only 3 clients received parenting education last month, for example, when I know there were about 12 of them in the class (and they have been entered into group classes).
Let me know if you can help.

Hi again Munchkin,
Have you tried drilling down on this number "3" that you're getting, in order to determine which clients are missing from this stat? That would be a great place to start.
Also, you'll want to double check that each of your "class names" is set up with the correct "program." You can go to "Group Classes" and then open up your class, and click on the "edit list" button found next to the "Class Name" field in order to check this. If you're "programs" are not set-up correctly, then you're stats will not be accurate.
If you continue to have trouble with this, feel free to give me a call so I can help you more. Our office # is (972) 851-1085.
Have a great afternoon!
