Have you missed me?? It seems like I go a while and do okay on my own... and then I write you everyday!! :)
I have a suggestion/request. I would love the option to "check/uncheck" those who I'd like to be included in a report I pull in donor management for receipts, letters, labels, etc. For example we have our monthly Champion Club (those who give monthly) letter that goes out. they receive a letter and their receipt in an envelope with a printed label. Some donors don't want to receive a receipt so we don't waste monthly paper and they'll get a year end receipt. Some don't even want to receive a letter so as to save money. Therefore they are still a part of Champion club, but don't receive some of the stuff.... I would like the check/uncheck mark for each one so as to not include them if I want....
THANKS!!!!!! You are loved, appreciated, and prayed for!

We always love hearing from you, Ashleigh! :o)
I do think there is a solution in the software today for your issue. At the bottom of each Donation form (entered in the donor's file) there is a checkbox that says "to be printed." This is one system that you can use to run a batch of receipts. So, in your situation you would only mark the donors that DO want a receipt with a checkmark. Then, when running the Batch Receipts you would use the filter of "to be printed" to get a list of these people.
One other thing you could do is set up "categories" that are specific for your various mailings. For example, you could set-up a Category called "Champion Club-Monthly Receipt" to keep track of who is specifically wanting a monthly receipt & letter. Then when running the Batch Receipt, you would use the Category filter to include only the "Champion Club-Monthly Receipt" people in your batch. For those that do not want mailings at all, you should mark these with the "hold mail" checkmark (found on the General tab).
Hope that all makes sense and will help!
In Him,
