Gospel presentation report

Is there a report that will provide stats on the gospel presentation, received Christ and rededicated to Christ fields? Thank you!

Hi Christi,

Yep, there sure is. From Client management go to "Statistics." The stat you'll want to run is the "Client Case Statistic" (this is because all this data is found on the "Case Form"). In the "Measures" list at the top, you will see the options of "Spiritual Status" and "Gospel Presented." These 2 measures will give you the numbers you are looking for. You can run them separately or together depending on what type of stats you are in need of.

Hope this will help! Have a great day. :)

Actually, this doesn't really answer her question, which is my question about how may we retrieve "accepted the gospel". When I pulled up the CareNet report, it shows that we had "0" accept the gospel and I know our data entry people recorded this field.

Also, I am having a problem with the stats for how many chose life for abortion minded and abortion vulnerable clients. My nurse has one number, the CareNet pulled up a different number, and the Focus report pulled up a third number. Our nurse is the one that records the info on this, and I could see perhaps a little descrepancy, but the number are way off. And I can't figure out how the numbers could vary from Focu and CareNet if the reports are drawing from the same data we recorded in Ekyros.

Any help would be greatly appreciated in these two areas.

I agree. Using the statistics, I was able to find the numbers and figure out where they come from for the spiritual stats. However, this presented a new problem. On the Focus report, these statistics seem to count any client who visited the center for any service who had on some occasion accepted Christ, rededicated or been presented the gospel. With this, the numbers are completely skewed. It doesn't count clients who did one of these things within the month of the report. Is there a way to fix this?

Thank you
Christi Russell

Hi Sarah,

All spiritual status information is tracked on the Case Form in the question marked "What is the Client's Spiritual Status?" If the client "accepts the gospel" while at your center, then you will mark her spiritual status as "profession of faith." This is where we pull the statistics from that I outlined below in my original reply to Christi, and also where the data for questions 84-86 on the Care Net report come from. If #84 on your Care Net report is showing "0" then that means you have marked no clients with the Spiritual Status of "profession of faith."

To double check these numbers, I would suggest running the Client Case Stat using the measure of "Spiritual Status," that I described in my original response below. This will give you a detailed breakout of your Spiritual Status statistics and you can also drill-down on any number you see to validate that it is accurate (you do this by clicking on any number in the statistical chart, which will give you a list of clients who make up this statistic).

I hope this helps clarify everything. An additional resource that will be helpful when looking at the Care Net Report is our "Care Net Report User Guide" which gives a step by step walk through of every question on the Care Net Report. You can find this on our website, www.ekyros.com, and then click on the PRC Software tab. It is located in the middle-bottom of the page in the "User Guide" section. You will also find a User Guide there for Focus's Option Ultrasound report as well.

Regarding tracking pregnancy intentions, I can better answer your question if I get a little bit more information on what specific numbers on the Care Net and Option Ultrasound reports you are referring to. This is because each question on these reports has a unique source that it is pulling from. Can you get back to me with this info, and also how your nurse is running these stats internally? If you would rather go over this on the phone I would be happy to help you with this anytime.SmileyYou can reach our office at (972) 851-1085. I look forward to helping you get this all figured out. :)

Thanks Sarah! Have a wonderful day.
In Him,

Sarah

Hi Christi,

I may need a little more clarification from you, but I'm assuming you are referring to question #24 on the Option Ultrasound report that asks "How many clients became new believers in Christ?" Right? If so, according to Focus on the Family they DO want this number to reflect ALL of your clients who made a profession of faith during that particular month. They are not wanting this number to exclusively reflect your pregnancy test or ultrasound clients only, but they want all clients reflected in that number.

I hope this answers your question, but please let me know if it does not. :)

Blessings to you today!

Sarah,

Thank you for trying to understand my confusion! Yes, it is #24. Let me see if an example will help...I'll use the received Christi stat. Client Julie came in for a pregnancy test in September 07 where she received Christ during her visit. In December, she came in for a clothing closet visit. In the statistic/report for December, Julie shows up as having received Christ in December but she had actually done that in September. Because she had a client visit recorded in December, she was counted toward the stat of having received Christ because that was already in her file. Julie profession of faith was recorded and reported on in September and is then duplicated incorrectly in December.

This is how it seems to me to be calculating. I tried to figure this out because our gospel presented number was higher than our number of clients in some months. Please let me know if I'm looking at this wrong. Thanks again for your help.

Christi

Hi Christi,

Thank you for that example! That does help clarify your question. :o)

***Because Spritual Status is tracked on the Case Form, the month that a profession of faith is counted in is all determined by the date found on the Case Form.

So, in the example that you provided of client "Julie," if her Case Form was dated in September 2007, her profession of faith would ONLY be counted in September's 2007 Option Ultrasound report. The same profession of faith is NOT counted for more than one month. The only way this could happen is if you change the date of the Case, which is not something that we recommend doing.

I hope this will help clear up any confusion and ease your mind about the way that this is being tracked on your Option Ultrasound report. :o)

In Him,
Sarah

Hello Sarah,

We are doing what you said above. Our data entry people are posting on the Case Form: Client's Spiritual Status and if the client "accepts the gospel" with the date and name of the person who presented gospel. Still CareNet report says "0".

Now as far as the second question regarding different results on the pregnancy intentions, I will have our nurse, Maribeth Osgood, contact you.

Thanks in advance,
Sarah Stone

Hi Sarah,

Very interesting. Is there any chance that when you are running the Care Net Report that you are running it for 2008, instead of 2007? On the "report options" page the year will default to the current year (2008), so you'll have to manually select 2007. Just a thought?

If you still have problems, please give me a call so I can help you with this personally. I would love the chance to help you more with this. :o)

Thanks!

Sarah

Great! That answers one question because we had been changing that date to the closed date. However, it brings up another question...if "Julie" profession of faith was during a later visit, like to the clothing closet, how would that be tracked and would it show up on the Focus report?

I have been training someone else to do these reports just this week and last so this is a great time to figure all this out! Thanks so much!

Hi Christi,

Great question. This profession of faith is always going to show up in the month that the Case Form is dated with. So, if the Case Form is dated in January, this profession of faith will also show up on January's Option Ultrasound report.

Hope that makes sense. :)

Sarah
