Changed minds

Hello and Thank you for all you do!
We are pulling year end statistics and I have a question about a specific statistic. Here goes... If a client comes in and is initially assesed as AV or AB, then later comes back for x number of appointments and changes her mind. How do I get statistics that would tell me changed mind not just on the initial visit(or pregnancy test intake).
Say we had 5 clients coming in who were initially assesed as AV or AB, 3 of them came back to center and eventually changed there minds. What would I do to get a statistic that said we had 5 total AV/AB clients, and 3 out of the 5 changed their mind.
I would like to know statistics past the initial visit assesment. Or do I have to figure this out by looking at the Pregnancy Tests statistics and the Case Pregnancy Statistics? If you could help me out trying to figure this out. Thank you.

Hi Abox,

The question found on the Case Form that asks for the clients "pregnancy intention at last contact" should reflect the most current & up-to-date known pregnancy intention of the client. Sometimes this intention will never change, but with some clients this might change several times throughout her many visits to your center. To keep the most accurate stats, you'll always want to make sure that the Case Form reflects the most up-to-date pregnancy intention. To edit the Case Form, there is a small "edit" button found on the top right of the form, and you'll want to make sure and save your changes.

When running stats to look at changed minds, you can run the Pregnancy Test Statistic or the Sonogram Statistic using the measures of "Pregnancy Intentions Before Support" and "Case Pregnancy Status." The "pregnancy intentions before support" will reflect what the client was initially assessed as, while the "Case Pregnancy Status" will reflect the most current known intention.

I hope that helps clarify. Feel free to give us a call if you need more help with this.

In Him,
Sarah

Thank you Sarah for your quick response. Most appreciated. I am wondering if I can contact you by phone? I have some questions relating to statistics and I think it would be easier to talk to you. I do not know how to reach you by phone. If you could let me know that would be great thank you. I am in the office Mon-Thurs 8:30 to 3:30. (989-835-1500) Thank you.
