zip code statistics
Posted: 25 Jul 2007 04:23 PM
I've tried pulling statistics reports to sort donors (or clients) by zip code. Only problem is, we're a Canadian Centre, and it doesn't seem like the statistics will sort our postal codes (which, of course, include numbers and letters). Any ideas if/how this could be changed?

Hi munchkin,

We currently do not support statistics by zip/postal code for Canada. Most of our Canadian customers have said that is not a problem. We've been told that apparently postal codes in Canada do not have consistent geographic boundaries as they do here in the US. So stats by postal code are meaningless to them. If this is not the case, please let me know. We can certainly consider implementing stats by postal code for Canadian customers in the future. Thanks!

Stats by Canadian postal code would still be helpful. I could see where it might not be as helpful in a large Canadian city but we are in a small city serving a large rural area. Sorting our clients by postal code would be VERY helpful so we can evaluate our impact on outlying communities.

I know that programs such as Excel can sort our postal codes in alpha-numeric order... I'm just wondering if you could work this into eKyros for us Canadians.
