Pregnancy Test Outcomes
Posted: 10 Jul 2007 06:13 PM
I'm having trouble linking test outcomes to the reports or statistics in ekyros. I'm not quite sure what I am missing but whenever I go to pull up the stats on pregnancy test outcomes nothing shows up for births.
I thought at first we had not gone back and entered in the date of outcome but I checked and at least for one client we had entered all of the baby's information after the birth.
How do I make sure that pregnancy test outcomes show up?

Thanks
Andrea

Hi Andrea,

When you enter a Positive pregnancy test form, you will automatically get a "set outcome" link that is found at the bottom of the Pregnancy History Tab (if the test is marked "negative" then no "set outcome" link will appear). When you click on this "Set Outcome" link you will then be able to enter the outcome of your client's pregnancy test. This is the source for the Pregnancy Outcome Stats.

Note: Make sure you aren't using the "Pregnancy History" form to track your client's pregnancy outcomes. This is NOT linked to the Outcome stats. This Pregnancy History form is only used to track the pregnancies that your clients have had in their past before they come to your center.

If you continue to have problems, please feel free to give me a call so we can take a more detailed look at your stats. You can reach us at (972) 851-1085. I'd love to help you in any way I can! :o)

Have a great day,

Sarah

To add to Sarah's post, you should also consider running the "Pregnancy Test Follow-up" report periodically. In this report, you can filter by due date to find all pregnancies that are coming due. You can even set the outcome right within the report results (by clicking the "Set Outcome" link). This saves you a lot of steps since you don't have to open each individual file.

Hope that helps!
