donor letters
Posted: 18 Jun 2007 10:05 AM
I just wrote a donor thank you letter. I am new to Centerpiece so I changed the "target report" a few times in the process but ended up with Donations. I entered mail merge fields for donation amount, date, etc. as well as name and address.

When I hit Save - I got a display with lots of numbers rather than my letter. I closed it and reopened it by clicking on edit next to the name of the letter, and got the same display. How do I get back to being able to read my letter?

I tried again with a new letter and it worked fine, but now I can't delete the bad one! It still displays all the numbers and does not give me the option to save or delete at the bottom. Can you delete it for me? - the one I want to KEEP is "donor thanks".

Hi Marie,

Here are the steps for you to delete the letter you don't want.

1. Go to the "letters" tab within Donro Management.
2. Find the letter you want to delete and click on the "edit" button for this letter.
3. Your letter will then open up in a new window. From here, the delete button will be grayed out and you won't be able to delete. At the top of this new window you must select the "Edit" button at the top of the window, which is right next to the letter name.
4. Once you hit this Edit button, your letter will open up, and you'll just have to click on the "Delete" button at the bottom of the page.

If you try this and continue to have problems, feel free to give us a call at 972-851-1085.

Thanks!

Sarah Miller
