CHANGED MINDS Posted: 06 Jun 2007 09:22 AM |
Can you help me understand how you track changed minds? We had a client who was ABM when she came in. When she returned for u/s she was still ABM. We made follow up contact today and she stated she is keeping the baby. Praise the Lord!
We know that we make the update in the 'case', but how does that change get picked up in the statistical information? We don't put a date in. Does the system know when the change is made?
Prayerfully this question makes sense. If you need clarification, please let me know. Thank you very much! |

Hi again Sharond,
This is a great question and makes perfect sense! You are right that this changed mind should be documented on the Case form in the "Case Pregnancy Status" section which asks "What are the client's pregnancy intentions at last contact?"
When you run the Pregnancy Test Statistic, make sure to use the "Case Pregnancy Status" measure, which will give you the most up-to-date view of your client's pregnancy intentions. So, when running this stat you'll want to select "Test Result" for measure 1, "Intentions Before Support" for measure 2, and "Case Pregnancy Status" for measure 3. The Sonogram stats also have a measure called "Case Pregnancy Status."
Regarding dates, the case date (the very first field on the Case form) that you assign will determine which month this data shows up in.
Please let us know if you have any more questions about this. I know this is one of the most important things we track in this ministry. I'm praising God for the awesome things He's doing at your center!! :o)
