Is there any way to enter a Team of walkers in eKyros? A team would consist of 2 - 8 walkers. Any suggestions?

Hi dd,

Yes there is. Just follow the steps below:

First you need to setup and event:

1) Go to Donor Management/Events
2) Click Add New Event on the toolbar. The new event form opens.
3) Enter the start date of the event and the Event name (e.g. Walk for life 2007)
4) Click Save. The Event is saved and the Budget, Groups and Sponsors tabs are enabled.

Next you need to setup your walkers. You do this under the Groups tab.

1) Under the event you created above, click the Groups tab
2) Click the Add Groups button on the toolbar.
3) For each walker, enter a group name (e.g. Walker 1, Walker 2 etc...) and assign the walker's donor file as the Group Captain. Note: enter 1 or more of the walker's lastname in the Group Captain box, if the walker does not appear in the list, click the elispsis button (button with 3 dots) to add it. Then search again for the name.
4) Once you've entered a Group Name and Group Captain, click ADD.
5) Repeat steps 3 & 4 for each walker.

(Note: For banquets, you would enter tables for the group name and table captains for the Group Captain..e.g. Table 1, Table 2)

Finally, you can assign the sponsors to your walkers under the "Sponsors" tab.

1) Under the event you first created, click on the "Sponsors" tab. The Sponsors form opens.
2) Click the Add Sponsors button on the toolbar. The edit form to add sponsors opens.
3) Assign a Donor to each Group/Walker. Search for the sponsor under the "Donor" field. and select the group (walker) from the Group List.
4) Click Add.
5) Repeat steps 3 & 4 for each sponsor.

I hope that helps. Please let me know if you have any additional questions. Thanks!

I understand entering walkers with sponsors, what I am wondering is there a way to enter teams that would consist of 2 to 8 walkers and all of their sponsors? We have teams that compete and walkers that compete.
