User account with no update capability just Reporting for Board Members

Hi Brian,
The capability of being able to reach our data from any internet connection is great for keeping Board Members up to date on Center statistics, however, they should not have the ability to update any information, just view reports. Is it possible to set up something in Administration for a User type that only has access to bringing up reports from either/both client and donor systems? It would be a kind of Browse only view where the controls on the page would not be enabled if you tried to drill down in a report.
From a CPC perspective, it would give us more control over our data by not allowing updates, but from a Board perspective it will give them a better feel for how the CPC is running. |

Hi Donna,
We've received similar feedback like your request. We are investigating enhancing the role management and security boundries within CenterPiece. However, this will require a large update to the system...which probably won't happen until sometime in 2007. I'll keep you posted. |
