pregnancy test page

Many times I have a client here for a pregnancy test who has not had a period (perhaps she has been on depo or has not yet started her period after the birth of a child). The pregnancy test page does not allow for this and I have had to enter a false LMP in order to save the information on this page.

Hi Nancyg,

The first question on the Pregnancy Test Form which asks, "When was the first day of your last period?" is NOT a required field. Although it's always best to get this information, it is not required for you to be able to save.

Hope this will help you. Please let me know if you have any more questions.

Sarah Miller

Interesting, because last week I was unable to save the PT page without the LMP date entered. Once I entered a bogus date, I was able to save. I don't remember this problem in the past. I'll have to see if it happens the next time I have a Pregnancy test client.

I just went into a pregnancy test client's file, deleted the LMP date, and tried to save the page. I couldn't do it and received the following message: "String was not recognized as a valid date time".

Hi Nancy,

I just logged in and saved a pregnancy test form and was able to save it with out answering questions #1 that asks: "When was the first day of your last period?". Is this the same question that you are leaving blank?

Nancy,
This is very interesting, because I'm having the same results as Carlye. I've tested it several different ways, but can't seem to duplicate the error you are getting. The only Required field on the Pregnancy Test form is the "Date of Visit" found at the very top of the form. If you would, please test this out again and let us know if you continue to get this error message, and as much specific info about it that you can give us.

Thanks!

Sarah Milelr
