Care Net Report

Clients that have received options counseling are appearing on the Concepts Shared stats but the numbers are not being reflected on the Care Net report, question 9. What is causing that?

Hi Nancyg,

Great question. Let me explain how this question #9 and all other "program" stats (questions 9-14 and 16-20) are calculated on the Care Net Report. First of all, this data is pulled from 3 different places:

1. Concept Shared Form (question # 3 "Concepts Shared")
2. Individual Education Form ("Class Name")
3. Group Classes ("Class Name")

When setting up your Concepts Shared, or Class Names, you are required to select a "Program." The program you select will tie that specific concept or class to the appropriate "Program" on the Care Net report. You can edit this Program information for concepts or classes that have already been set-up.

Currently there is a program in our list called "Parenting" but not one called "Pregnancy Options." Based on feedback we recently received at the Care Net conference, we will be changing the name of the current "Parenting" program to "Pregnancy Options/Parenting" in order to exactly match the Care Net report. So for the time being, you can go ahead and select "Parenting" for all the concepts or classes that fit into the "Pregnancy Options" program and they will be put into the correct program on the Care Net report (since Care Net lumps these two programs together).

Hope this all makes sense, but please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks!!

Sarah Miller
