editing the daily schedule
Posted: 13 Jun 2006 02:53 PM
Hi Ekyros Team!
I am having an issue today with editing a daily schedule. We are using our resource free/busy tab to indicate when different people are available. It's a bit confusing, but it has been working for us. Today I wanted to schedule in a lunch break for our nurse. I edited her daily schedule, but did it wrong (I put 12-1 instead of 1-2). When I tried to fix my mistake by doing another daily edit for her it isn't overriding the last one. I tried to shut down my browser and start again but no luck.
Can you help me?
Thanks!

Ok, I fixed it...is there a way to delete my comments after I post them in cases like this?
:)

Hi malia,

You need to edit or clear the first range (green blocks).

To edit an existing range (ie 12-1) just click on one of the green blocks in the range between 12-1. A dialog will appear and allow you to change the range of time and/or clear the time. If you clear the time, you will need to define a new range by clicking on a Free block.

Hope that helps.

There is no way to delete your posts...but that's okay, your comments are still valuable because we learn what is and is not intuitive. Thanks!

Although I was able to fix the problem I ran across on this particular day, I have had several problems with the resources tab. It seems to be one of the more complicated processes, so I'm not sure if it's my own glitch in sequencing or if it has to do with the software. I'm not having a problem with it currently, but thought I would mention it in case others are having the same issues.
Thanks!
Malia

Hi Malia,

Could you be more specific about what problems you are running into with the Resources Tab? We'd love to hear about it. :o)

Thanks!
