Entering Staff/Volunteer Name
Posted: 27 Apr 2006 01:47 PM
Hello out there,

I have entered the list of all our staff members and counselors, but not matter what I type into the space that says Staff/Volunteer Name (in Case) it always comes out with my name. I've tried hitting just save, save and close, etc.

Also, is there a way to take things off the screen that we don't use - like social security number? I would like to simplify as much as possible.

Thanks in advance,
Sarah Stone

Hi Sarah,

There is no way to remove the fields that you do not wish to use (like s.s.#). What you can do is remove these questions from the paper intake forms you use (we call them "office forms") and then just skip these certain questions while doing data entry.

Each time you are asked to mark the Staff/Volunteer (whether on the Case Form, Preg. test Form, etc.) you should be able to get a drop down list of all you staff/vol. names that have been inputted. You must click on the name that you want to select and then it should immediately appear in the box. Is this what you are doing? Just let me know if you need more help with this.

Have a great day!

Sarah

Thanks Sarah,

Yes, the drop down list appears, I click the name of the counselor and it appears where it is supposed to and then I click save. But every time I come back to that screen, my name continues to be in the box. In other words, I cannot make it save to another name.

Thanks ever so.
