I may or not be understanding your question correctly. Here's what I think you are asking....Is there a way to enter donations, but be sure not to print a receipt to give that person?
You have 2 options here:
1.) If you want to "hold mail" for that person all together, you can mark the "hold mail" box that is found under the "general" tab of a donor file. When running the batch receipt, you will want to be sure to select "yes" in the "Exclude Hold Mail" filter.
2.) On the actual Donation Form you can remove the check mark at the bottom of the "Receipt" section that says "to be printed" for any donations that you do not want to print receipts for. When actually running the batch receipts you will want to be sure to select "yes only" in the "To Be Printed" filter.
Hope this helps.

I have checked the donor section of Ekyros, to see how we can keep a record of material donations and the value of each of them. I'm not finding that in the donor manual--but maybe I missed it. Can you help me?
It would be helpful to have a list, as we do in our closets, that we could select items and enter the value of the donation (Not the value for the donor's tax records but the value it is for us) Our CPA says that we need to keep track, because it represents a large amount of "in kind" donations. |

Hi tmaikk,
The best way to handle in-kind donations is to mark the "donation type" field as "material". You can also enter a description of the item in the comment field. Hope that helps. |
