Carenet Report Posted: 15 Feb 2006 09:06 PM |
We are at the time that our Carenet report is due I ran the report and have come up with some item that do not seem right. Example: Under how many new material service cases showed 0 and Number oftotal material services showed 0 are we enetering something the wrong way that it is not showing up on the report?
Also # of women who recieved pregnancy otpions /parernting counseling? Has 0 also.
We show only 9 young ladies as abortion volunerable that seems very low to me.
How can we work on these problems? Should I be giving someone a call. Our report is due in 2 weeks.
Thank You
Susan |

Re: Carenet Report Posted: 16 Feb 2006 11:38 AM |
Hi Susan,
We do need to make a few changes to the Carenet report. Especially around questions 9 - 21. Please see below:
▲ Question 9: Number of who women received pregnancy options/ parenting counseling?
This question is unfortunately not supported in this version or CenterPiece because we have not way of knowing what you title "pregnancy options / parenting counseling" in the concepts shared form. In next years version we will allow you to select the values from the concepts shared form that you want to count towards this number.
▲ Question 10: Number of men who received pregnancy options/ parenting counseling?
Same as above.
▲ Question 13: Number of clients who participated in parenting classes?
This is supported and will be updated by Monday, Feb. 20th.
▲ Question 14: Number of clients who received childbirth education?
This question is again not supported for the 2005 report, but for next year's 2006 report we will be adding a category to the classes (individual and group) called "childbirth". Once that category is added we will be able to calculate these numbers.
▲ Question 15: Number of clients placed in housing through your center?
This question is not supported.
▲ Question 16: Number of clients who participated in job/skills training?
This question is again not supported for the 2005 report, but for next year's 2006 report we will be adding a category to the classes (individual and group) called "job / skills training". Once that category is added we will be able to calculate these numbers.
▲ Question 17: Number of clients who received post-adoption support?
This question is again not supported for the 2005 report, but for next year's 2006 report we will be adding a category to the classes (individual and group) called "post adoption". Once that category is added we will be able to calculate these numbers.
▲ Question 18: Number of clients who received post-abortion support?
If your client's who received post-abortion counseling attended either group or individual education, this is supported and will be updated on the report by Monday, Feb. 20th.
▲ Question 19: Number of men who received post-abortion support?
If your male client's who received post-abortion counseling attended either group or individual education, this is supported and will be updated on the report by Monday, Feb. 20th.
▲ Question 20: Number of clients who received one-on-one abstinence counseling?
If your client's who received one-on-one abstinence counseling attended either group or individual education, this is supported and will be updated on the report by Monday, Feb. 20th.
▲ Question 21: Number of students you estimate attended group abstinence presentations?
This question is not supported, however we are planning on adding an "outreach" section to a future version of CenterPiece.
You also mentioned question #6 and #7 - "material service cases". When you entered these into the system did you use the Closet/Boutique form?
Also, as far as the abortion minded clients, you should be able to validate those numbers by running the statistics around the pregnancy test and sonogram. To do that, do to "Client Management" - then "Statistics" - then "Pregnancy Test". Once at the pregnancy test form, set column 1 to "test result", set column 2 to "pregnancy intentions before support", and column 3 to "case pregnancy status". When you run the report you want to look for positive pregnancy tests only. These numbers will match the Carenet report and you can click on the numbers in the report to see the client files.
Please let me know if there is still a discrepancy once you look at the client files.
Thanks so much Susan,
Carlye
