CareNet Annual Report
Posted: 23 Jan 2006 02:20 PM
I just received our 2006 Affiliation Renewal packet from CareNet. I noticed some differences between this form and what I see on ekyros' new release. Perhaps you are already aware, or some of them may be intentional. But if not, I noticed that under the section titled “Center Program Statistics (New Cases Only),” there are three questions listed that are not in this same section on the paper form. Questions 11, 12 and 13 (re: Ultrasound and STD testing) are included in “Part 3: Center Statistics – Medical.”

Under both the “Use of Contraceptives” and “Previous Abortions” sections, there is an “Unknown” category, which is not included in the ekyros report. However, is it even possible to track either of these statistics through ekyros?

Under Current Student Enrollment, the categories listed are different. CareNet asks for six categories (jr. high/middle school, high school, college/university, trade school/other, not currently enrolled, unknown). I know Ekyros uses different terms for the “Education Level.” How is this going to correspond to the CareNet report?

Also, under Abortion Risk Assessment and Impact of Services – Part One (POS Test Clients): Lines 53, 57 and 61 all say “Total Abortion-Minded Clients” rather than “Total Abortion-Vulnerable Clients” “Total Clients Likely to Carry to Term” and “Total Clients with Unknown Intentions.”

In the next section Part Two (Ultrasound Clients Only), the same error occurs in lines 70, 74 and 78. And line 79 should read “Total Number of Pregnant Ultrasound Clients” rather than "Positive Test Clients."

Thanks alot for your feedback!
Sheena

Hi Sheena,

We have a few more updates that need to be added to the CareNet report. We will get the report updated and posted to the test site in the next few days.

Thanks!
