Pledges

Hi Brian,
Happy New Year! Hope all is well.
On the pledge reminders it looks as if they only will print once they are "past due" what I was hoping for was a reminder I could send out like a week prior to the due date so they get their plede in on time not after the date. Is there anyway to do this? I hate to be such a pest.

Hi Brian
While I am on the subject of requests any chance you can move the name and address on the receipts and pledges in about 1/2 an inch so they fit correctly inside a window envelope?
Any time frame on the pledge reminder fix? I am in a real hurry ( as I am sure everyone is that requests fixes) sorry.

Hi Tracy,
Great feedback! We will be able to change the formatting on the batch reciepts so you can use window envelopes. To do this, we need to know the specifics on what type of envelopes you are using. The more specific the better (brand, size, number, etc.). We'd love to get this information from anyone else who has this same feature request as well.

| I just heard from Jane, who had this same feature request, and they are using envelope #208 from the company "Intuit." She said they purchase these envelopes by mail-order only. |

Tracy,
any chance you use the same type/size? As a quick fix, we can only support 1 format. at a later date, we can look at supporting multiple envelope types/sizes.

Batch Receipts:
We have updated the batch receipts report to support 2 window envelopes. the report is formated to support No. 9 Double window envelopes. The new functionality is included in the next release of CenterPiece which is due to be released at the end of the month. However, you can test the new functionality today by going to https://centertest.ekyros.com/cp . this is our test site for the new version. your existing user ID/pswd should work, since it is based on a copy of the production database. Note that this is a "test" server, so any changes you make to your data will not be saved to your production server.
Pledge Reminder Report:
In the report options, if you enter a date a few weeks/months into the future, the report will show current past due donors and donors that *will be* past due based on the future date. This might just accomplish what you were asking for in your original request.
For example:
Today is 1/15/2005. However, i would like to notify donors that will have donation payments due by 2/15/2005. Run the report with the 2/15/2005 date in the report options. all the donors that show up in the list will be considered "past due" on that date. So you could send the a letter now reminding them that their payment is coming due. Let me know if you think that would work. thanks.

Hi Brian,
Ok I guess what I was asking for originally was a form letter that went out for pledges and it looks like all i get in pledge reminders is the names of people who owe and from there we would have to create a pledge reminder in word so that really defeats the purpose as I already had a program that i could enter the name and pledge amount and then once a month push a couple of buttons and a reminder would print. I was hoping for something like the receipts only for pledges. ( is this making sense?). Currently I am using 3 programs again one for pledgers this one to input donations and quickbooks to do accounting. I was hoping to be able to just use this and quickbooks since we put pledgers in here I was hoping for a monthly type form that we could just print from here.
