donor reports - mailing

| w/ Donor Mailing List Reports. I've run the report and see that donors are listed more than 1x. I want to send a mailing to them, but don't want to send duplicates. Except for exporting to excel and manually reviewing each file! Can you fix this, soon? Thanks. |

Hi Rose,
I assume you are running the Donations report. The Donations report shows all individual donations including the amount of each. If a donor has provided multiple donations, they will be displayed duplicate times. This is by design and not a bug.
Try running the batch receipts report and export the mailing labels list. Use this as you mail merge for your letter. This report shows all donations, but does not duplicate the donor name. you can also filter by event and date range.
