walk for life

we are starting to enter walkers and pledges for our walk. I do not see how you can enter a pledge for a certain walker on the activity form. The sponsoring field says unknown and is not allowing us to add to change it.
Our walk is Saturday, so we could use help ASAP please! |

Hi Susan,
On the pledge and donation form, in order to select the sponsoring person, you need to select an event from the list first. Once you select an event, the sponsoring field will refresh with a list of the walkers.
If you haven't setup any events, you will need to do this under the events tab under Donor Management. Complete the following steps:
1) While editing an event, under the groups tab, you need to build a list of your walkers. To do this, edit the "Groups" list.
2) For each walker add a group name (e.g. Walker1, Walker2, Walker3) and select a walker.
3) Once you've built your walker list, close the edit groups dialog. the list on the left refreshes with your walkers.
4) The next thing you need to do is associate all the sponsors to a walker. To do this, click the "select" button next to the first walker in the list (this selects the walker).
5) Next, click on the sponsors tab and build a list of all the people that are sponsoring that walker.
6) Repeat that step for each walker in the list.
