1.APPOINTMENT BOOK
Posted by sharond on 8/15/2008 3:08:35 PM
Is there any way to print out the daily notes which we type on the appointment book? Or are we only able to print the schedule? Thank you.

Thanks Sarah, that was the note I was trying to print ... on the far right side of the "Day" view, just below the calendar.

We do know how to print the staff/volunteer report; we do that daily, but was hoping we could print the daily notes also.

Thanks for replying so quickly.

Blessings to you,
Sharon D
3.ABORTION RECOVERY TRAINING INSTITUTE

Good morning,

I do not know if this is something you can provide help with. I am with Piedmont Women's Center in Greenville, South Carolina. We are hosting an Abortion Recovery Training Institute in October 2008 and would like all Pregnancy Care Centers across the nation to be aware of this. Is there any way that an e-mail blast can be sent to all the Centers associated with E-Kyros? Or, maybe this is something you can put on the announcements as centers log-on to ...
4.ADDING CHURCH TO OUR CLIENT'S CASE
Posted by sharond on 6/6/2007 9:25:51 AM
We have been having a problem recently. We used to be able to 'save' church information, but it is no longer being saved in our client's case. What are we doing wrong? Can you help?
5.ENTERING SONOGRAM RESULTS
Posted by sharond on 8/13/2007 3:03:40 PM
Our centers do not provide our clients with 'how many weeks was client at time of sonogram'. We do provide them with a preliminary EDC.

However, when we enter this information in E-kyros, we cannot proceed with a 'conclusive' sonogram and not enter 'number of weeks'; the system tell us that weeks must be > 0 if sonogram is 'conclusive'. Is there a way that this can be overridden? Just entering a number so that we can move on is not accurate ...

Thanks for your reply. The chief reason we do not put the EDC on the actual written form is because until the physician signs off on the ultrasound charts, it is not a confirmation of weeks gestation and could be perceived as if the sonographer made that determination on her own. Not providing this information is a NIFLA recommendation regarding legal forms.

Again, we can enter '1' for the weeks gestation, but I do not know if and how this would affect statistics.
7.ENTERING RACE

We are seeing an increase in the number of clients who are 'biracial'. Is there a possibility that 'biracial' could be listed as a choice. I would think this would better reflect ethnicity rather than 'other'. Or even better, if we had the option to choose more than one (i.e., Caucasian/African American.

Thanks for your consideration.
8.CHANGED MINDS
Posted by sharond on 6/6/2007 9:22:33 AM
Can you help me understand how you track changed minds? We had a client who was ABM when she came in. When she returned for u/s she was still ABM. We made follow up contact today and she stated she is keeping the baby. Praise the Lord!

We know that we make the update in the 'case', but how does that change get picked up in the statistical information? We don't put a date in. Does the system know when the change is made?

Prayerfully this ...
9.GED Education Level

We have many clients who are working on obtaining their GEDs when they come into the Center. Is there any way that GED can be listed? We were considering using Trade School/Other, but that is really not an accurate reflection of their education. Thanks for your consideration.
10.NEW AND RETURN VISITS
Posted by sharond on 12/5/2006 3:23:02 PM
Can you clarify how E-Kyros utilizes the "new" and "return" visit. The default is return.

If a client comes in for a pregancy test, which is negative and then comes back for a repeat in a week or two .. that, to me, would be considered a "return" visit.

However, if the client comes in January and the test is negative and then she comes back in May for a pregnancy test ... is that considered a "return" visit. To me this ...
11.Pregnancy History

Is there any way that "deceased" could be listed as an option when entering the pregnancy history? The reason I ask is that there have been several clients whose babies died at two months or even two years of age. The system then continue to "age" that child; when it really isn't appropriate. However, stillborn, miscarriage and abortion are not correct either. We tend to put in a note to address it. Thanks for your consideration.
