1.Appointment statistics and a 4th field
Posted by sandyc on 7/24/2015 2:35:03 PM
This would be HUGE! I have to run a couple of reports at times and compare the two of them. Another option that would be a wonderful help would to be able to run an APPOINTMENT STATISTICS report that we could somehow have time included. For example: We are attempting to assess how many clients we see on a Walk-In basis vs. by appointment. We also want to know who saw them and at what time. Right now, we have to do it manually, which takes A LOT of time and effort. What do you think?
2.Re: Ability to copy Donor/Staff files into another section

Ashleighg,

I thank you for being honest with me. I thought it might be a bit involved. (I know JUST enough about programming to get me in trouble!) I thank you as well, for bringing it up again at your development meetings. Can't wait to see the upcoming changes! God bless you and have a wonderful weekend!

We have been saying for quite some time that it would be great to somehow have some sort of crossover. We have several people who are in both our Donor & Staff Modules. This feature would be OUTSTANDING! Thanks for all you do! You all are wonderful!
4.tying the notes to event/appeal in Donor Management
Posted by sandyc on 8/1/2014 7:42:20 AM
First of all, I LOVE this addition! But, I guess I'm never satisfied. We were discussing this feature and how to use it as we work towards our fall banquet. It would be SO good if you could modify your programming in order to give us the ability to run a report of all the notes tied to a particular event, or link them into the event itself. Does this make sense? Thanks!
5.Re: Serach for Files & Reports

Just as birth date is very helpful in finding clients, email address would also be helpful. We JUST had a situation where a client responded to an email from her crisis counselor. The email had a different last name on it. I was able to find her in our files b/c of a reference in the email to when she was in here. I went to the month, narrowed it down, and matched up the email address! Just an idea! Thanks for all you do! Y'all are awesome!
6.Referrals given by sex
Posted by sandyc on 4/12/2013 1:27:17 PM
I'm working on reports for an upcoming board meeting. As our men's ministry has taken off, I've been asked to report on our male clients separately from our female clients. When attempting to pull numbers in the Referrals Given Statistics, I noticed that sex is not an option in the demographics to pull from. Why is this? Is there anyway of changing this soon? Whatever you can do will be great! Thank you for all your hard work!

7.firefox and the update

Is ekyros now available for all centers on Firefox and Chrome? I was able to log on in Firefox, but unable to navigate in the scheduler.

I am running Firefox 20.0 on my PC... and I just discovered the problem! I had an add on that was blocking the script. Thank you for your quick reply, Amy. You and your team NEVER cease to amaze us!!!!

9.Getting started on PlusLink
Posted by sandyc on 6/1/2011 11:27:06 AM
We have just signed up with PlusLink and I'm going through the process of setting up available timeslots, etc. This is bringing up questions that I didn't think of before. First, is there any way to sync up the scheduler with PlusLink so we don't have to set up the schedule twice, in essence? Also, when we make an appointment on our end, does it show the timeslot as not available to OptionLine? Any help you can give would be helpful. Thanks!
10.a quirk on the resource page
Posted by sandyc on 4/4/2011 10:57:38 AM
We have a strange little issue with the resources on the scheduler. When one of my co-workers signs on, the resources are shown in a different order than originally shown. When I sign on, they are in the original order, though for a while they were mixed up as well. So, it doesn't look like there would be an easy fix. Its causing her confusion as she sets up our schedule. Is there anything you can tell us? Thanks for any help you can give.

12.Updated Scheduler
Posted by sandyc on 1/24/2011 10:33:00 AM
I'm exploring the new scheduler this morning, and finding that you can only edit resources on a weekly basis. We need to be able to put in a month's worth of available appointment times, and need to be able to vary the times on a daily basis. For example, this Monday we may have appointments available at 10, 11, and 12. Next Monday the scedule may change to 1, 2, 3, and 4. Does that make sense? And since some of our appointments are made 2 or 3 weeks out in advance, we need to be ...

Ashleigh,
Thank you for anything you can do to help. Y'all do a wonderful job! I love the new update as a whole! God Bless!

I am SO excited that the daily notes are back!!! Thank you so much! I really appreciate it. This will make it easier to schedule appointments for us while we wait and see if the edit daily schedule ( or a similar counterpart) can be implemented. We appreciate your team's hard work!
15.client search by staff/volunteer
Posted by sandyc on 4/30/2010 10:51:56 AM
I love the advanced filter options you added to the client file search with the Oct. 2009 update. I would love to be able to search by originating staff/volunteer as well. For example, I know the first name of a client seen by a specific staff member, but have no idea when she was seen, etc. It would be nice to be able to search by first name and originating staff member. Does that make sense? It would lessen the detective aspect of my job greatly! Thanks!

Ashleigh,
That is wonderful news! I must admit, the Reports section is one area I haven't really played around in yet. It looks like I should explore that area a little more. Thank you so much for your help!

17.Closets/ Boutiques Needs List
Posted by sandyc on 3/16/2010 9:16:33 AM
Is there any way to run a report to pull the items entered in the Closets/ Boutiques form that was in need, but have since been closed? I am trying to reduce the list of items in the drop down box on the Closet/Boutiques form. I have went through and deleted all items we want off the list with the exception of one. It tells me that "the DELETE statement conflicted with the REFERENCE condtraint "FK_tblClosetNeeds_ClosetList"". The only solution I can come up with is the ...
18.Re: Closets/ Boutiques Needs List
Posted by sandyc on 3/19/2010 7:23:39 AM
I had to do that to change the other items on the list. The problem is, we decided to only track certain items specifically. To simplify things, we are now entering the lesser given items in one category - "other". My belief is that I may have changed the item to "other" when a client picked it up, but missed it on the needs list. Does this make sense? Thanks, Ashleigh. Do you have any other suggestions?

19.tracking clients considering adoption
Posted by sandyc on 11/19/2009 10:58:13 AM
We have always kept track of clients that are carrying, considering adoption. I don't see any way of doing this with the recent update. It seems to only track carry vs. abort. Is there any way I can track this now. If so, how?

Thank you so much Brian. I used that measure prior to the last update. Would you happen to know when that will be available on the stats?
21.October2009 update
Posted by sandyc on 10/13/2009 10:28:09 AM
Are you still working out the bugs on the recent update? I'm having problems running statistics. It will give me the numbers, but when I click on the number to get the client files corresponding to it, I do not always get names. It has even given me names from staff management in place of the client's. I understand if you're aware of this and are working it out. I just wanted to be sure. ;Thank you for everything! God bless!
22.logout time
Posted by sandyc on 11/13/2008 1:09:20 PM
It would be nice if we could choose how long we want eKyros to wait before it automatically signs us out. Its possible that you already have this feature, and I am just unable to find it. If so, please let me know how. Thanks!
23.Re: logout time
Posted by sandyc on 11/26/2008 7:42:57 AM
I didn't realize that the logout time was that long. We are starting to use the appointment book. I suggested to my co-workers that they leave the appointment book open on a seperate tab in explorer for easy access when making appointments. Since they aren't on eKyros as often as I am, they timed out and wanted to know if the time could be adjusted. Now that we know the timout setting, the hour should be plenty. Thank you for your help. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
24.making appointments
Posted by sandyc on 10/3/2008 12:03:08 PM
We are new to using the appointment book. My question is, when making an appointment, when does the time slot show as busy? Is it at the save or when the resource room is selected for that appointment? We may have two people making appointments at one time and want to be aware of this. Thank you!
25.center locations
Posted by sandyc on 9/8/2008 8:58:50 AM
I work at a center that also has two other locations. There are times when I make appointments and do data entry for the other locations. I think it would be a great idea if we could set the color schemes of each location to different colors. That would be something simple that would reduce confusing when dealing with more than on center in both the appointment book and data entry. Thanks!
