1.Workflow Improvement -- Suggestions; getting files checked off
Posted by rico on 2/6/2012 1:45:19 PM

Recently we've been having more problems with workflow at our center. For the clients that come in the counselors fill out a hardcopyform on paper day to day (haven't looked at it thoroughly), for the pregnancy test, general info for each initial visit, request for services there are each different forms. For the printed files that go in folders we have a client vist log and a baby bucks tracking record log. Someone else then enters the files into ekyros and they are ...

3.Appointments 1st record in file
Posted by rico on 3/11/2010 4:39:11 PM
I like the new update with edit on the side. Is there any way we could have the appointment for each date within the visit be at the top, like before the update?

It makes it more convenient/orderly for us if the appointment is above closet boutiques, concepts shared, etc.

Thanks for your time and help.

In centerpeice after being logged in a counselor will be inputting notes, and situations will arise when the counselor will not be able to finish her notes. The user will be logged out of ekyros, after the system isn't used for security reasons. Often when having to reloggin the counselor will find that the notes are lost and they will have to retype them. Is there any way to autosave the notes, or change the session logout time?

Thank you for your time and support.
5.Closet Boutiques scrollbar
Posted by rico on 2/21/2008 5:31:55 PM
A recent update gave the Closet & Boutiques form a scrollbar even when it is not necessary. Because the list can be not expanded, and all the items are not visible when printed. This creates a problem for us as we would like to view all the items via hardcopy.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.
6.Re: Needs list

I have a question in regaurds to the needs list too.

We keep a needs list that clients have for ekyros, but the clients needs list only expires, if clients receive what is on the needs list. Is there any way to make this expire after a certain time. For example have the list expire if it isn't updated in 6 months.

Thanks.
Rico.

8.How much to print out?
Posted by rico on 4/16/2007 11:53:24 AM
How much of the forms is it a good idea, to have printed out (Keeping copies in files)?

Currently we print out items such as initial visit, closet boutiques, concepts shared, and notes. We were just thinking of printing out notes.

Can anyone give suggestions on what their center does?

Thanks for all the hard work you do Ekyros Maintainers.

9.Re: New Microsoft Update

MS Windows = High Total Cost Ownership

Since eKyros is dependant upon Internet Explorer
we might possibly be having to pay for windows licences we get, if they're not donated.

Do you think it is still ok to use IE6 from a security standpoint?

I help maintain the computers at our CPC and was contemplating using Ubuntu Christian Edition to run IE6 on Linux instead of buying licenses for windows.

I found out that IE6 requires a copy of windows on the computer anyway, so we will have to use Windows. We'll probably end up trying to go with Windows XP sp2 not 3 they don't have one :-)

Updating operating systems can be a chore and regaurding to your question: Who will support your center after I leave?

Good Point. The Linux systems I was thinking of using Ubuntu CE, and PuppyLinux get new operating systems more frequently than ...
11.fast/quick dates on calander
Posted by rico on 11/30/2006 3:15:49 PM
In the files view

Instead of having to click dates for appointments from calander on the right) with the mouse, why could there be the option to manually insert the date mm/dd/yy?

This may be quicker/easier in some circumstances.
12.Re: baby births
Posted by rico on 11/9/2006 2:26:21 PM
Not Entirely...

Pregnancy test outcome isn't always related to baby
births....
They may come in already pregnant, so is there a
better way to track baby births that's not dependent upon the pregnancy test outcome?

Thanks
