We haven't been closing cases or inactivating clients. Is it necessary to do either of those?

I'm not sure if this helps much or is even what your asking for, but this is what I created to help our volunteers capture what happened during a visit so the data inputers know what to record in ekyros. For each client visit we just circle what happened with that client. For instance if she was a new client for a pregnancy test the volunteer would circle New Client, Client Intake Form, Pregnancy Test, Pregnancy History (if client has any), Pregnancy Test, Concepts, and Follow Ups (to have ... |

Hi, everyone. I think it is important that centers understand that the statistics generated by this report are based on cases created, not the clients. For example,
1. A client comes into the center during the year for four pregnancy tests. Four cases will be created for her. Her statistical data will be counted four times.
2. A client came to the center in 2008 for a pregnancy test. A case was created for her. The pregnancy test was positive. In ... |

Good question. I know it says Clients Cases, but we were thinking "case" information was for clients - what is really the Client File. Maybe an extra sentence giving a heads up that it's NOT that for clarification.
I use the Unique Clients by Date Range whenever I can, but it is limited. To get accurate stats for clients by zip code or age, we have to export the "View as List" to Excel and count them. Ethnicity information is not even available ... |

I know y'all worked really hard on the updates incorporating various things to help eliminate excessive "clicking" to get to different screens and options. Thanks for that. Yes, here it comes - but, with the client file information showing at the top of the activity screen/case list screen, etc., we are forever having to scroll down to actually see the activity and case list info. I don't know about the ones at the office, but my personal computer's resolution is 1366 X 768. I don't know what the size is. We have to scroll down on all of our monitors at the office.

Hello, everyone. Would you please consider removing Concepts Shared from this statistical report? Concepts Shared are not programs. Telling clients that we have parenting classes available is obviously very different from having them participate in our parenting classes. Statistically for us last year, we had 37 women who came into our Center who had prior abortions and were told about our abortion recovery ministry. Hi, Ashleigh. I've been thinking about your reply. I talked to Cindy at CareNet about this in October and Elise last month, and both said they were only interested in the number of clients who actually participated in programs, so I'm confused about the discrepancy.

Happy New Year, everyone.
Our drop downs are increasingly burdensome because of the numbers of classes and literature we have added over the years. We don't use many of them anymore, but there's currently no way to get them to quit showing up on the drop downs. The counselors have an option to disable them from showing up on the counselor drop down. It would be so helpful if the same thing was available for classes and literature, and would save our data entry people tons ... |

I've started checking numbers for our Care Net Report. Can you please clarify the following:
Care Net Report Question 8: Number of clients who received parenting EDUCATION? 85 (taken from the Client Program Statistics which includes classes and concepts).
Ekyros Statistical report for Class Attendance Statistics shows 628 parenting classes were taken. Exporting the list to Excel and deleting the duplicates results in 121 clients who took those classes.

Hi, Sarah. We're having a discussion about the same issue. In the above mentioned scenario, Becky (Case 001) has previously been in for EWYL classes. She then gets a pregnancy test which is negative (Case 002). She continues with her EWYL classes. Will that be under 001 or do all of the activities now get reported under 002?
Another example. Susan (001) is getting diapers for a baby she already has. She comes in for another pregnancy test (002) which is positive. ... |

This has been a busy week.
We have added another set of classes - numbers 10.1 through 10.5. I have tried everything I know to try, and they keep showing up in the drop down with the 1. classes instead of after the 9.5 class. What do I need to do to have them show up in the right order?

Hi, again. We're trying to cut way back on the amount of time it takes to enter data. While all of the questions are valuable for counseling, most of them don't affect statistics. We do not print out the completed forms for the client files but use the ones completed by hand by the counselors. Is there anyway to delete the questions from the data entry screens that we don't use for stats?

Hi, everyone. I've run the sonogram stats asking for repeat scans, and the numbers are off. It's telling me 3 for 2010, and we've had 21. 2009 was 0 and we had 26. I've looked at the sonogram screen and don't see anything to check whether it was an initial sonogram or repeat. How do I get this number to record correctly?

Hi, everyone. Our stats are wrong for retests. When I run the Sonogram stats, it shows 3 retests for this year, and we've have over 20. I looked at the Sonogram screen and didn't see anything to check for retests. What am I doing wrong this time?

Hi, everyone. We're trying to clean up our volunteer files and drop down list which has gotten very, very long and includes several long-gone counselors. We can't delete them, because they're linked to client cases. We've tried changing their names to Unknown, but evidently they're filtered by number and not name.
What to do?

Hello, everyone. We continue to keep recording the date on each new case form for previous "Profession of Faith" information. It counts again as a profession in the stats. Is there any way to keep track of the previous professions but eliminate the duplication?

Hi, Ashleigh. No. I'm sorry I'm having such a hard time explaining this. When I run the stats by Profession of Faith dates, the client shows up multiple times depending on how many cases she has. She really only made one profession, so it should only count one time.

So, then, yes, per your initial reply, it might be better to have spiritual status blank for new cases.
Am I understanding this correctly now? The "Date Accepted Jesus" is determined by the date of the case and not the date of the client's profession? If that's right, then what happens when a client comes to the Center in January, makes a profession of faith during a visit in July, and her ... |
