1. | Re: Center Program Stats Posted by munchkin on 2/9/2011 5:30:44 PM We are encountering some significant inconsistencies in the client program statistics report.
For example when we draw the report by program type, it tells us that 14 women have received post-abortion support. This just isn't the case....and when we drill down on that number 14, several of the clients that show up have never even had abortions, let alone post abortion support. Can you provide any direction here? |
2. | Re: zip code statistics Posted by munchkin on 7/22/2010 3:29:38 PM Stats by Canadian postal code would still be helpful. I could see where it might not be as helpful in a large Canadian city but we are in a small city serving a large rural area. Sorting our clients by postal code would be VERY helpful so we can evaluate our impact on outlying communities.
I know that programs such as Excel can sort our postal codes in alpha-numeric order... I'm just wondering if you could work this into eKyros for us Canadians. |
3. | zip code statistics Posted by munchkin on 7/25/2007 4:23:10 PM I've tried pulling statistics reports to sort donors (or clients) by zip code. Only problem is, we're a Canadian Centre, and it doesn't seem like the statistics will sort our postal codes (which, of course, include numbers and letters). Any ideas if/how this could be changed? |
4. | Care Net Client Statistical Report- Already Christian Posted by munchkin on 1/15/2010 3:52:59 PM Hello :)
We are compiling our 2009 stats, and most numbers seem to be coming up correctly. One is confusing:
Near the end of the report (#72, I believe) there is a field for "how many clients were already Christians?".
The number we get there is very different from last year.
I pulled a client case statistic with the measure of religion, and the number of clients reporting that they are Christians is drastically ... |
5. | Re: Care Net Client Statistical Report- Already Christian Posted by munchkin on 1/15/2010 4:35:42 PM Thanks Ashleigh!
Yes...you're right,it's number #86. #72 is the corresponding number on the CAPSS statistical report for us Canadians, and that's why I got confused.
Thanks for the information- it's making sense now.
Bless you!

6. | Re: Pregnancy Outcome Statistics Posted by munchkin on 1/7/2010 4:26:18 PM I have encountered a discrepancy with pregnancy outcome statistics.
When I run the Center Productivity report and view Pregnancy Outcomes, I see that there are 48 births recorded for 2009.
When I pull the corresponding statistic (Client Case Statistic\pregnancyoutcome) I get the number 25 for births recorded in 2009.
I'm assuming that other stats may not be lining up either...and am a bit concerned. |
7. | Re: Pregnancy Outcome Statistics Posted by munchkin on 1/7/2010 5:28:40 PM I totally missed the "time column". Thanks! |
8. | Re: Pregnancy Outcome Statistics Posted by munchkin on 1/7/2010 5:32:31 PM another question, though...
I tried pulling the same report with "Date outcome recorded" and my numbers are way off.
I realise they will be different to an extent, but the numbers seem really off.
Thanks for all your help! |
9. | Re: Blocking access to client files Posted by munchkin on 1/7/2010 3:16:32 PM In relation to that particular question...
We don't use the appointment book in eKyros because we don't want people booking appointments to have access to all client files in the database.
I've asked in the past...so I'll bring it up again. Is there a possibility that we could create user accounts that can only access the appointment book? |
10. | Re: Adding New Reasons for This Visits Posted by munchkin on 7/15/2009 5:54:45 PM I agree that the "Primary Reason For Visit" should either be editable, or I would request that "Adoption Help" or "Post Adoption Help", and "Closets/Boutiques" be added.
We are really trying to focus on improving our adoption advocacy with clients, as well as our post adoption help... but that's not reflected here.
And... we need to know if clients are primarily coming for material supports or not. This would be the ... |
11. | Re: Adding New Reasons for This Visits Posted by munchkin on 7/16/2009 11:14:39 AM Oh- the reason I overlooked the fact that Baby/Maternity supplies wasn't on the list is that I could not find it when I pulled a Client Program Statistics report. It is really hard to find any useful data on baby/maternity supplies clients. I don't see much use for the current statistics on "how many items have been given away" by the centre. I realise we can see how many forms were filled out for closets and boutiques under activity statistics, but that still does not break ... |
12. | Re: Adding New Reasons for This Visits Posted by munchkin on 7/16/2009 2:37:06 PM Okay, I understand how to get the stats you just mentioned through "client visit Statistics" and "Primary purpose for visit". What I was hoping for is the ability to break down the stats by individual client. Client visit statistics list every visit, no matter how many times a particular client comes.
I like the "client program statistics" report for the fact that it breaks down how many unique clients are accessing a particular service. That stat ... |
13. | Client Program Statistics Posted by munchkin on 4/8/2008 4:14:59 PM Hi-
We recently started using the Group Classes forms to track our parenting and childbirth class attendance. Clients who were entered in a group class form should show up in the Client Program Statistics form...but only 3 of the 12 or so clients that are in the class are showing up in the Client program Statistics report.
Any ideas?

14. | Re: Client Program Statistics Posted by munchkin on 4/8/2008 8:56:23 PM Hi Sarah,
I understand that this program only tracks the number of individual clients- that's what I'm looking for specifically in this case. The problem I'm finding is that the report is telling me only 3 clients received parenting education last month, for example, when I know there were about 12 of them in the class (and they have been entered into group classes).
Let me know if you can help.

15. | Canadian Tax Receipts Posted by munchkin on 1/17/2008 11:23:41 AM I need some help with issuing year-end tax receipts in a Canadian context.
-We need to be able to give our donors 2 copies of their receipt (one to keep, one to remit to the CRA)
-we need to include our charitable registration number on the receipt
-the receipt must be numbered
Are there any other Canadian centres out there that have made this work?

16. | Re: Canadian Tax Receipts Posted by munchkin on 1/17/2008 5:02:23 PM Hi Sarah,
I talked to my bookkeeper a bit more, and she also told me we also need to have the following information on the receipts;
-"For the taxation year 2007" (not just on the letter, but the actual receipt)
-"Official Receipt for Income Tax Purposes. Canada Revenue Agency: www.cra-arc.gc.ca/charities" (again, not just on the letter, but on the actual receipt)
-Our Centre's registered charitable number, name and ... |
17. | Re: Canadian Tax Receipts Posted by munchkin on 1/17/2008 5:45:08 PM Hi Brian,
I think I've figured out how to get most of the information I need into the letter. I'm a little concerned, after looking at some of the donation reports, however.
Some of the donors who donated several times throughout the year don't have all of their donations show up- for example, one donor gave $50 on one occasion, and $100 on another occasion. Only the $50 donation shows up, yet the total YTD donations show up as $150.
|
18. | Re: Canadian Tax Receipts Posted by munchkin on 1/18/2008 11:45:40 AM Hi Brian,
It seems a bit haphazard-
Some of the donor files seem accurate, yet others will show two different totals at the end of a list of donations.
I double checked the start and end date filters, but some files still come up with two different totals for the "giving period" selected and the "YTD" total donations, which, for 1/1/2007 to 12/31/2007, should be the exact same thing.

19. | New/Return in pregnancy test form Posted by munchkin on 8/31/2007 6:01:07 PM Hello,
In the pregnancy test form, there is a field for "Date of Visit"- and within that field, there are options for "Type of Visit" (New or Return) and "Primary Reason for Visit".
The problem we're encountering is that we've entered some of those details incorrectly, but when we try to go in and change them, we get error messages saying that's not possible.
Hope you can help!

20. | Re: Primary Reason/Purpose for Visit Posted by munchkin on 8/22/2007 5:00:33 PM Another thought about primary reason...We can't edit that list by ourself, but we get clients who come in as a family member or boyfriend of someone who is pregnant. We often have these clients seeing their own volunteer counselor- but there isn't a choice in that list that really works for these clients. There are also clients who come in specifically for post-abortion support, and there's no primary reason for visit that really lines up with that.
let me know ... |
21. | Re: Primary Reason/Purpose for Visit Posted by munchkin on 8/23/2007 11:07:55 AM Thanks Sarah-
I didn't even think of that since, as of yet, we don't have any medical centres in Canada. We have started using concepts shared for those kinds of things, so I guess we will continue. Thanks!

22. | Re: Editing lists Posted by munchkin on 8/20/2007 5:54:30 PM Hi Sarah- I love the editing lists feature, and have figured out how to drill down on stats to eliminate certain options. However, I've tried to delete one option from our ConceptsShared list, and it keeps telling me that the option is referenced by another form. When I run the ConceptsShared statistics by type, that option does not show up anywhere. I want to delete it, but can't figure out where it's actually being used.
Thanks!

23. | Re: Editing lists Posted by munchkin on 8/20/2007 5:57:41 PM Sorry...one more question while I'm on the the topic of lists. We can edit the list of Audio, Video, and Literature shared in the concepts shared form...but when we try to pull the udio, Video, and Literature Statistics, we can't get any details about what kind of literature, for example, was actually shared. We have Bibles on that list, but when we try to pull a report to see how many Bibles we have given out, there is no way to get that specific.
Can you help?

24. | Re: Editing lists Posted by munchkin on 8/22/2007 3:48:24 PM Hi Sarah!
Thanks so much for your replies. You were right with my first question (I had to check back at previous years to delete the particular 'concept shared'.
We are really enjoying getting to know this program more and more. :) |
25. | Re: statistics reports Posted by munchkin on 8/20/2007 5:21:11 PM Hi Margie :)
Just wondering if there's ever a chance that we will be able to customize our own reports and save them for future log-ins. Every Centre has slightly different reporting procedures, depending on what their boards want to know. I've managed to find, one way or another, just about every stat we need through the statistics reports, but it is a lot of work to keep track of all the details of where each number has to be found...
Hope that makes ... |
