1.Event Contributions Reports

I am trying to get a list of the top churches for our walk for life but I think the report is totaling more than they should be. Are they "pledges" on the report filled or unfilled?

I am wanting total giving. I am using the "Event Group Contributions by Church" report and it is confusing. The problem seems to be that the pledges that have been paid are showing up in the pledges column and in the donations column. I need them to show up in one or the other so I can get an accurate total. Perhaps the best solution is to show the figures like they show on the main events list: Total Pledged; Total Pledge Payments Received; Total Unfulfilled Pledges; Total Non-Pledge ...

On the Pledge Reminder report, the column that says "Payment Due" is one less than it should be. Can this be corrected?

I am trying to do Pledge Reminders using the Pledge Reminders Report , but the amounts keep coming up incorrect. The "Pledge Amount" & "Amount Received" are coming up correct, but the "Amount Due" and "Amount Behind" are not.

For example let's say that Donor X pledged $100/mo for a year which totals $1200. Let's say Donor X gave $200 already and owes $1000. The way the fields should read is:
Pledge Amount: $100

The pledge reminder report is still showing the number of monthly payments as 11 when it should be 12 which is making all the other figures off. Can you tell me why?

Exactly what report says is "PaymentsDue 11, PaymentsReceived 8 PaymentsBehind 4". And what it should say is "PaymentsDue 12 PaymentsReceived 8 PaymentsBehind 5".

Okay, so the problem with mine is that in the "Payments Due" column all my monthly pledges say "11" when they should say "12". I can't figure out why or how to change that because in the each donor's actual pledge in their file it reads correctly as 12 next to "number of payments."

The number of monthly payments due are still showing up as 11 instead of 12 on the Pledge Reminder Report. Can you please contact me? We just finished our Banquet and need to figure this out so we can send letters. Thanks!

We are trying to send brochures to our past walkers and our newsletter recipients without sending duplicates to anyone. If I could select more than one category from the drop down list in the Donor File Report this would be possible. However, since selecting more than one item from report drop down lists is still not an option, I can't see how to do this. What is your suggestion?

In all of the drop down lists on all of the reports is there a way to select more than one option?

For example, in the Donation reports if I want to see donations for all the Banquets of each year but nothing else can I like hold down the CTRL key or some other button and select only the Banquet events but nothing else?

This is very important for writing donation letters. I want to be able to send letters to my Cash, Check, EFT, and Credit donors without ...

I have been requesting for a couple years now that in Donor Management Reports for all drop down lists that there be a check box so you can select more than just one thing at a time.

You were able to do this for me on the "Batch Receipt" report for "Payment Type." However, it would be so helpful on all the reports drop down lists. For 3 years now, I have been having to run 8 different reports and merge them together and then remove duplicates.

I was wondering if you will be adding this option any time soon. I know that WayCool has this standard in their software and am considering switching to their software since this does not seem to be a priority for eKyros.

Just wondering if you are looking into what I mentioned earlier in the thread about changing the pre-made batch letters to say "Donation Statement" instead of "Donation Receipt." The U.S. Postal Service will no longer allow the word "receipt" on any bulk mailings. I know I can change it in Word, but it seems this could be a problem for other centers as well. Last year we had to re-print over 1000 Walk Letters because we used your form letter.

I would like to use the Batch Letter for our Walk donation letters going out this week, but at the top it has the words "Dontation Receipt." We have been informed from the Bulk Mail department at the Post Office that any letters with the words "receipt" or "for your records" will no longer be eligible for bulk mail rates. Is there any way to remove the word "receipt" from this letter ASAP?

The ruling was passed in 2005 but they are just now starting to enforce it. We had over 2000 letters printed and in envelopes and the Post Office said we would have to send it First Class instead of bulk because of the ruling. Today, we are in the process of reprinting all of the letters. I have documentation of this that the Post Office sent me if you need proof. The letter really needs to be changed since most Batch Mailings are also Bulk Mailings.

I am also needing to insert the Group Captain's name in the Batch Receipts for our Walk For Life letter. We use the comments section for something else -- so can this please be added as an insertable field in the Batch Letters? We are hoping to send out our Walk Letters next week.

Instead of using "Walker 1", "Walker 2", etc. as Group Names my center is using Last Names. However when we are on the "Sponsors" tab and are entering in the walker's sponsors, we have to search through a long drop down list. Is it possible to have the Drop down list be alphabetical OR perhaps even better possible for under "Group" to have the option to "Enter 1 or more letters" like there is on the "Donor" one to the left?

I cannot get the Quickbooks Connector to work since the new release. It appears to keep timing out. Is anyone else having this issue?

Is there a way to send letters to letters to all the churches that participating in the walk that gives them the total they raised. I noticed there is on the Walkers but cannot figure out how to do the churches.

When I exported this list to Excel it did not give me the address fields needed to actually merge my letters though.

On a Donor's Activity tab is it possible to add "Total Pledged" next to a pledge? So it would look like "Pledge - Banquet 07 (received: $200.00, total pledged $1200)"

Currently to see this amount we have to click on the pledge and then click on the "Billing Schedule" tab. Thanks!
25.memo line in Quickbooks

When transferring payments to Quickbooks, the Quickbooks memo line defaults to "Batch # File #". Is there a way to change this to default to Centerpiece's Comment field for the payment? If not, can it default to the payment's Event field? I am manually changing them now but once our Banquet starts and we receive huge deposits and manually changing them would take a lot of extra time. I filter our reports by the Quickbooks memo line so this change would be quite helpful.
