I am entering a Quick form.

I habitually use the TAB key when it is faster than placing my hand on the mouse.

As I enter data into the form, the TAB key will advance down the screen to each field that is available for data entry.
When the TAB reaches the bottom of the screen, the next TAB will cause a screen refresh and place the current input field at the center of the screen instead of advancing only one line down the form.

Thanks Amy - good to know that you can see the effects.

As I mentioned originally, I don't know if you have any programming control of this function but it would be good to see it propagated to the other browsers if possible - a definite time saver. Because of this, I am thinking of moving to Chrome but my favorite browser for everyday use is Firefox.

Can you bring this to the attention of the developers? Ask Brian. I'd like to see it propagated to ...

On Windows 7, I notice a good feature of Chrome. It might perform the same on other Windows releases.

When one is at the bottom of a screen and the TAB is pressed, the screen will update and place the current line in the middle of the screen instead of only refreshing the screen to the next available line on the current form.

I don't know if you have any programming control of this function but it would be good to see it propagated to the other browsers ...

Our center has grown and volunteers come and go. We were doing maintenance on our volunteer list and found we were prohibited from deleting invalid/inactive volunteer records with a message "Cannot delete record. The file has follow-up tasks assigned. You must remove or re-assign all follow-up first."
I did a followup report for the selected volunteer to see if there were any incomplete followups, ie., that needed work to be complete. There were none. All followups were in ...

The CASE VISIT form also provides this file tagging or status bar as you say. I still have an issue with the validity as I did originally.
We have begun to permit other users to enter CLIENT data. To ensure correct data is entered, I am doing validity checking of each entry while they are 'learning'.

OK. I was wondering because I always see my name. Other people, I believe, have been entering outcome results and I don't know who it is. When I enter the edit mode, I see my name at the bottom of the record. We record a note on the 'follow-up' form when the data is entered. I don't see the note on the form but the outcome has been recorded. It may be the counselors are entering more than one follow-up. I need to get t the bottom of the issue. It wastes my time.

I am supposed to be the only one who is entering data. That is the reason I am writing to you to ask for help in determining who else is doing the updates.

Action of events:

I have a stack of Follow-ups to enter.
I locate the client record.
I open the case.
I look at the Outcome area and it has already been entered.
The form is not flagged as 'recorded'. SO, I don't believe I did it.

Is there a way to determine the last person who altered a client file in Client Management? I know I can see my name on the last line of a record when in 'EDIT' mode.

I have done some more investigating and I don't see a good way for me or anyone else to make the determination of "who changed a file". I need more help.
I think this is a feature that needs to be implemented. The signature must be there someplace - "last altered by NAME". Even in Microsoft WORD, the author can be found in the file properties. Is there a way to poll the community about this? Has anyone else raised the question?

Yes, thanks for your advice.
The report works. You do have to have a case visit within the date range. I did not check that when I ran the test. One must understand so much about the program. It will not track if you only have a client file created with no 'visit'. Good job!

I have noticed that you added an opportunity to alter/edit the "purpose of the visit" pull down in the next release. This will facilitate tracking of the 'VOP' clients which was the purpose of this inquiry. Thanks for being proactive in making this function available.

Our state (NC) has passed new abortion laws. We are seeing an increase in clients coming in for VOP, verification of pregnancy, only.
We would like to track that activity but see no way to enter the data except in the sonogram form in 'client referred' but don't see a way to pull the specific data.
Another way is on the appointment category and pull that data on the appointment statistics then manually subtracting the VOP from 'real' center activity.

Sorry - my last post was not accurate. It should have only reported the idea was good.
I created a VOP category and specified that VOP category on some of my clients.
I waited for the record/file update to occur (over night) and ran the "Unique Clients..." but find 'no' clients selected by the report even though there are two valid clients with the category set to VOP.

I searched for this problem but did not find a match. If I missed it, please excuse me.

We report as 'Not Applicable' Negative PT and Inconclusive Sonogram. Logically, it is hard to make a decision if one is not medically with child.

When we run Client Case Stats, a 'not applicable' is counted/shown as 'UNKNOWN'. This causes much confusion as an UNKNOWN is not expected and is usually NEVER entered as a valid response. My immediate ...

We have only started using the Scheduler to make appointments. The person creating the Client visit record enters nothing but the date and counselors name fields into the form. The record is created to be able to add client notes into the database. However, this particular case does not have notes associated with it.
What is required to cause the "Case number" to appear in the "All Activity" listing?

The following is a copy/paste of the record while viewing the "Case 001". The case is open and shows a counselor assigned to the case. No other data has been entered into the case.
The case was opened by activity on the appointment scheduler - the status is "Show".
If this is normal, I can accept it. But the displays are inconsistent.

I hope I am not making some stupid mistake again but I tried to use the Client Follow-up report to list the status of my center followups. I can view them all on the screen for each counselor and when I try to print - it only prints the page that I am viewing at the time on the screen when there are more than one page when I scroll down.
The report view only shows page 1 of 1. The options appear that I can go to the next page or the bottom or top.

I have selected proper dates to build a large list. There are 26 entries in the list as viewed while looking at the report. There are only 12 entries shown on the print preview screen.
A closer view at the print preview provides only the page starting at the 'top' of the list that will fit on a print page no matter what part of the report I am viewing on the report screen. If I scroll to the bottom of the list, the print preview still shows the report entry ...

I searched for a similar error but did not find one.

This is very intermittent. It happens on both Windows releases XP & Version 7. It has occurred on Firefox, Chrome and IE. I have seen it SO MANY TIMES that I have tried to identify my actions. I notice nothing that I do special to cause it.

Really strange....today, I have been able to reproduce the problem. I have tried multiple times and can make it fail every time. This is the reason it is intermittent for me. I seldom use the mouse to position the cursor to the fields.

This is a working scenario:
1. I have just completed the pregnancy form.
2. I 'tab' to the selection - sonsogram - and press the space key. This selects the form.
3. The form opens. I tab to the active field ...

The same issue occurs on the Client Intake Form CASE information page when the "what outside help are you receiving' is opened by use of the mouse left-click and you attempt to TAB to a field in the opened view/box. The screen is refreshed to the top of the record - as on the previous update.

But, I can find the cursor now. It is positioned on the first field of the record. If one hits the TAB enough times it will be positioned into the record eventually. ...
