1.scheduler

Hi - We use the scheduler to record not only client appointments, but meetings, time out of the office, training, etc., so that it is all in one place. One thing that would be convenient, even for repeating client appointments, would be to have a recurring option for entering appointments. Currently, when a staff member is out all week, we have to enter each day separately. Would it be possible to add a "repeat" option, similar to phone calendars, where it is possible to check various ...

3.Time cards

I love the fact that you have added time cards to CenterPiece! I've been struggling with finding a good way to keep track, and am hopeful this will help. Of course, it's brand new, so I'm just learning. It seems that in order to enter more than one type of service in a day, you have to add multiple time cards. Am I missing something? I can't imagine very many of us do the same thing all day!

4."relationships" issue

When we went to add a relationship in a client file today, we could not get the name to come up as we began typing, even though she already has a client file as well. Only 10 options came up for that letter, but when I checked, there should have been 16 clients whose name started with that letter. I randomly checked some other letters and similar things were happening. Any idea as to why this might be? We've been using CenterPiece for almost 10 years and I don't remember this ever ...

I had checked for the space, but did not look for the "inactive" designation. That worked, thank you. However, may I point out that an active client may easily have a "relationship" (i.e. sister, friend, even boyfriend) with an inactive client. I would like to see that changed in the future.

Also, as we were working with this one, we realized that she was "inactive" because she had been using our services in the past, then stopped coming (so was ...

7.search for individual lessons

Today an Earn While You Learn client who has done many lessons was coming in, and we were trying to check whether she had already done a certain lesson we had in mind. Lessons do not always go in a certain order, so when someone has multiple pages of lessons listed in their client file, it becomes a daunting task to find whether they have completed a particular lesson. We are wondering if it would be possible to add a search mechanism within the activities in a client file that would help with ...

We would find it helpful to have a direct connection between "outcome" info and "children" in a case. Sometimes one gets entered and the other one forgotten. It would be nice to have a reminder pop-up or something similar. For instance, when the case outcome is filled out and 'birth' is selected, a reminder for the 'children' form could automatically come up. Autofill may even be used for the birthdate info. When the 'chldren' form is filled out ...

I was just looking for a way to determine what percentage of our clients came from our county, which I needed to fill out a request for funding. It seems that this thread was seeking something similar, so I thought I'd just tack on here.

What is currently the easiest way to answer that question? It seems like I either can sort by zip code, but with all client visits (so a client may be counted more than once), or I can filter the zip code list by specifying new clients, ...
10.alphabetizing lists

We have encountered a challenge as we add to the class list on the individual education form. We recently added a 10th binder to our parenting set for Earn While You Learn. When we added this to the list, however, it alphabetizes P10 right after P1, rather than after P9. It is much easier, as you might imagine to have this long lesson list come up in order and not have to go searching for the one I'm looking for. Is there something that could be changed on either end to make this work? ...
11.opening page problem

Since the latest update came out, the first page that opens after log in is not working properly. The text and graphics are overlapping somewhat and the links (for the scheduler, for example) are not live. Is this a problem for others, or is there something wrong on my end? I have noticed no other issues.

12.number of classes a client has taken

Hi,
I'm trying to find a way to determine how many classes each Earn While You Learn client has taken over a period of time. For instance, I'd like to find all clients who have had more than 3 lessons, or something similar. Is there any way to get to this number?

We are doing a required evaluation for a grant program, and we would like to survey those who have completed a certain number of lessons in our Earn While You Learn program in 2011. Or survey them all, but sort them according to the number of lessons they took.

This could be useful in verifying incentives earned, as well. At this point, I don't know of other uses. I was just hoping there was an easy way to find this information for my currrent project.

Good morning!
We have noticed that when we make a change to the office hours through the "holiday" schedule, there is nothing in the scheduler that alerts us to the fact that the office is closed on a particular day. I see that the Holiday week title gets added to the days that week, so that is helpful, but it still doesn't specify to the one making the appointments what changes were actually made.

I wonder if it would work to have an "alert" ...

As to your question about comments, yes, I think you understand me correctly.

As for the Holiday Schedule issue, we have not been using the "resource" view at all because it doesn't work for us. We only have two staff and just because we have two rooms available does not mean we can schedule two appointments because we may only have one person in on that day. We just haven't figured out a logical way to use it, so I guess that will remain a problem. Are we in ...

Thanks for adding the alert as a feature request. You wrote "in the day view" but I think it is needed in any view (especially week and month, since that is where you can't see the specific holiday schedule.)

Thanks for your thoughts on resources as well. We have considered using resources as people, and that may work, but it seems like we still ran into something troublesome when we tried it. It's been awhile since I looked at it, so I don't remember ...

Let me begin by saying we really like how much the scheduler has improved since we started using it 5 years ago. Ekyros makes pregnancy center work easier!
We've noticed on the "announcement" page that comes up right after logging in, that the appointments listed there are not in chronological order, and that they also include appointments that have been cancelled or rescheduled. Certainly this is more clear once the scheduler is opened, but that initial view is ...

Maybe there could just be an option "completed" in the "status" menu, that wouldn't have to be connected with a client file. Perhaps it is just the listmaker in me that needs this, but I like to be able to show that we didn't what was scheduled, whether it is a meeting or whatever. It would clean up the stats too, rather than showing so many things "not checked in."

I don't know if that idea is workable, but that's what we were ...

I'm having the exact same problem, even though I have tried both of the suggestions here. Even when the slider is moved all the way to the right, the scroll bar does not let me get past about 1:00 pm.

Our class lists are very long too, and it was bugging me until I realized we could start typing in the name of the class and it would jump to that section of the list. This speeds things up a lot.

I have been wanting an improvement in this area too. Sometimes a client gets an item somewhere else, or she stops coming to us for one reason or another, but the items she needed were still listed on the needs list. It's cumbersome to go back into each file to make individual changes, especially when the needs report doesn't have the "drill down" option available. Maybe a check box that could be selected to remove the out of date needs on the report? I'm not sure what ...

I have tried many times to use the forum search, but nothing seems to happen. It just comes up with the original list. Am I skipping a step or is there a glich? If I type in a word, is it supposed to search for that word in just the title, or in the entire body of the thread?

23.rescheduled appointments, navigating files

I have noticed that when an appointment is rescheduled on the appointment calendar, it still shows up on "My Appointments" as an appointment. Is there a way that either the reschedule appointment disappears, or that there is a note about it being rescheduled that automatically shows? When I go to the full appointment book, it is clear, but on the My Appts page it looks like that appointment still is upcoming.

Thank you. Clicking on the "Case List" button does make it work quicker. I hadn't noticed that one before. I'm still puzzled as to why we wouldn't want that general tab to always be there, because that information is connected to every case in that client file.

Hi - Is there a way to sort clients by the number of visits they have made to our center? We are doing some evaluation of our Earn While You Learn program, and want to do some comparison between those more involved and those with fewer visits. Any ideas? Thanks.
