We have spoken to our resources at Focus on the Family (FOTF) and the National Institute of Family and Life Advocates (NIFLA) on this topic and want to share this information with you.
It's is advised, but not legally required, to use the term "concepts shared" rather than the term "counseling" to address the very concern you and your directors have pointed out.
