1. | Two Visits in One Day? Posted by bill on 3/4/2014 8:46:57 PM Hello,
A client of ours came in one afternoon for parenting class, then he came in the evening for a group lesson. When I tried to register his second visit that evening as a second case visit for that day, I got an error message saying, "A visit on already exists on 2/25/2014 in case number 01. Either change the date or delete the existing visit."
I would like to register this second visit on this day but I don't see how.

I click on that and it opens a "Case Visit Form"
That is where I am selecting the second return visit in the same day and receiving the error message. |
3. | Re: Two Visits in One Day? Posted by bill on 3/4/2014 9:41:55 PM Ok. I had not set up a class for that. I'll look into that.
However, that does not address the initial issue of not seeming to be able to allow a client to visit twice in one day, does it? |
4. | Re: Two Visits in One Day? Posted by bill on 3/4/2014 9:47:06 PM Why would a Group Attendance Form be called an "Individual" Education Form?
In our Centre, we primarily work with individuals one on one with parenting programs. The name of the form as an "Individual" education form is confusing for us.
Thanks for your help. |
5. | Re: Two Visits in One Day? Posted by bill on 3/5/2014 5:40:16 AM Thanks. I see how to create a Group Class now.
There is no video with that name that I could see, but I did look over the step-by-step guide.
We still have not addressed my initial issue of a client who comes in twice in one day for a similar activity. If a client comes in in the morning and does a parenting session and then comes in again in the evening to do a parenting session, there seems to be no way to show that as two distinct visits. It seems we ... |
6. | Relationships Needed Posted by bill on 2/9/2014 6:56:27 AM Hello,
I don't see where I can add fields to the "Relationships" list. Could you please add:
- Child (we count an unborn child as a "person" and a client even when we don't know its gender)
- Grandmother
- Grandfather
We find that grandparents often come in with their granddaughter.
Finally, in the dialogue box where I choose a new relationship, it does not specify who is related to whom.

7. | Re: Donor receipt Posted by bill on 1/8/2014 4:38:25 PM Hello,
I see that I cannot add the "spouse" field to my donor reports. I want to send a receipt that has both partners named so either one may claim the receipt.
Could this be added in the next update?
God bless you!

8. | Re: Donor receipt Posted by bill on 1/8/2014 5:26:37 PM Hello, Ashleigh,
No, that doesn't help too much ... I've already put in the first names as single names of all our donors and many of them are women's names with husbands listed as spouse.
I would think that for a report like that, it should be set up to allow the one creating the report to include any of the fields in the donor input form.
For new users, if reports are so limited, it would be really helpful if the form indicated ... |

Grace and peace to you! |
10. | Re: Donor Segments Posted by bill on 1/6/2014 12:44:38 PM ... this problem still exists (Since 2001!!) where I cannot see a report that shows all donors, their giving and their category (i.e. individual, business, etc.). Please include this column in the donor report.
I need to be able to run a donor receipt report (so that all the donation are added together) in list format for the previous year and have a column in that report that shows "categories (such as individual, business, etc.).
Please advise.

11. | Re: Donor Segments Posted by bill on 1/6/2014 3:48:07 PM Ok, thanks.
I still don't see where all the fields appear in a list for donors. I'll ask where those are.
I have another request, having just begun using the database.
New Donor Entry:
When entering a city / state or country, the ones I have previously entered beforehand (for other donors) which begin with the same letters or numbers I type in the data field appear in a handy dropdown list. However, it is difficult to select ... |
12. | Re: Donor Segments Posted by bill on 1/6/2014 3:49:11 PM Hello, Ashleigh,
Thanks for the note. Can you help me find where the categories column is ... in what report exactly? I can't see it yet.
Thanks.

13. | Re: Donor Segments Posted by bill on 1/6/2014 4:17:08 PM Oh, OK, thanks. When she said, "you can see the "Categories" column in the Donor Files Report" I thought that it was available.
Thanks for the help.
