1.Updated Scheduler Bug - Editing weekly resource

Wondering if anyone else ran into this bug?

I was playing around with the new edit weekly resources that was released today. I noticed that if I had a resource between the hours of 12am - 1pm, that editing was fine and actually very easy. But I ran into issues with the later time slots. Even with adjusting the sliding time bar at the top, it was like I could not scroll down enough to view all the hours that fall after 1pm. For example - I needed to uncheck a 7pm appt ...

I am able to set up resources for the month, but I am also frusterated with not being able to edit/ delete resource for specific days. For example twice a month we have US nights on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays evenings but we aren't open the rest of the month one Tues evenings or we have a volunteer who mentors who may be in three times a month on a Weds but then there is the one Weds that that volunteer is not in. Please provide insight on how we can work around or with this in the new ...

So I have had a client come, I have checked her in as a show and linked the case but I am still not able to access her file from the day, week, or month view. I can select a file, but I cannot access it. Am I misunderstanding you or doing something wrong?

P.s. when do you think that edit daily resource will be reinstated . . . I really can't let volunteers use the scheduler until we have that, otherwise we are going to be a scheduleing ...

Can you also ask the developers to bring back the drop down menu for staff names? Right now when making an appt you have to know the name of the person the client will be seeing and be able to type it in correctly. I just know volunteers who are only here once a month will struggle with that.

I understand how it works and that is great for someone like me who knows everyone. The problem is, when you are working with so many volunteers, they may not be able to remember the name or even know who is working a particular day - especially if is is a couple of weeks out. The drop down was nice, because they could pick a name from a list rather than having to remember a name or go look it up.

I guess my concerns are more rooted in not being able to control who volunteers enter as staff/volunteer. Before it was limited to a list that we controlled and now the volunteers have to remember the name before typing, rather that having visual list to immediately jog their memory of who the staff members are. As a result, I can totally see volunteers typing in a wrong name or spelling it wrong and then saving the appointment with a name to a person that does not exist.

I also noticed that inactive staff members are showing up in the auto fill when making and appt. Sorry- meant to say that before!

10.Change of names

I am wondering how to best deal with a client who has changed their name. I understand that I can just change her name in her file, but what if she has two cases and we want them linked to each other so that we can see her full history. One client in particular has two files (one under married and one under maiden name) and multiple cases associated with in her two files. Suggestions? Insights? Are there plans in the process to make a more simple solution?

11.Appointment form/ Appointment by Staff/Volunteer Report

I just wanted to suggest that some how when the Apppointments by Staff/Volunteer Report form is printed, that the additional information listed in the Appointment form be incorporated into report. Really the only thing not incorporated, is the Resouce. It would be helpful to have the resource, so that our volunteers and staff know what rooms they are expected to be in.

I have read a few posts, where others have suggested this, but it has been a little while and want to re-suggest, that a new feature be added to the New Appointment form. I would like to see a place to enter the phone number of the client. As others have mentioned it is tedious when calling to confirm clients to have to go into each of their files to retrieve the phone number, and it is redundant to have to enter the phone number in two different locations ( the new client file and the comments ...
