1.Open/Closed clients

When the client's baby is born, I change the status of the case to closed. Do I put the status of a negative test as closed or not? If the client comes back in for another test in a few months would that not be Case #2 therefore closing Case #1?
2.Appointment Book

We just recently started using your system but have not begun using the appointment book yet. Do we need to go back to enter appointments since we first opened in February 2006 or just start from today forward? Should we enter all past appointments even though we have entered them all as clients info? Thanks
