iPhone App Posted: 29 Dec 2014 12:17 PM |
Is there an iPhone App for eKYROS? We have a new iphone 24 hr number for clients and would love to be able to access eKYROS from an app while on the phone with a client. |

Hi ccpcbanquet,
We don't have a version that is optimized for use on a phone, but you can access your CenterPiece account from your iPhone since Safari is a supported browser. I know we have some centers using it on their tablets/iPads successfully. I assume this would be mainly for scheduling appointments?
Thanks,

Hi ccpcbanquet,
Can you help us understand what workflows you would like the iPhone app to support? Due to the small form factor, it is tough to get all of CenterPiece working on a phone. However, we are open to supporting certain scenarios that make sense. Any input would be much appreciated! Thanks! |

This is the only tread that I saw about an app for phones and other devices. Let me know if there is another one that I can follow or that answers my question.
Our medial director just asked if there was an app so he could quickly log on to review and sign off on the ultrasound scans and reports. I could not remember hearing about one so I checked the apple store and could not find one. Is this something that you are considering?
I have logged on with my phone if I needed to access client info while away from my office or a computer, but it is a bit cumbersome to click on the tabs as well as try to see what I am looking for. Are there plans to update this in the future? I understand it may not be as easy as it sounds, just checking.
Thanks!

Hello Angie,
We do not provide a downloadable app, you are able to easily access CenterPiece via your web browser.
With our last update we have completely Mobile Optimized CenterPiece so it is easier to navigate on a mobile device such as a phone, tablet, iPad, etc. with the collapsible menu, task pane, larger buttons for clicking with your finger, etc. With that said we are a large line of business (LOB) application with many data entry forms and large reports. Using a small mobile device such as a phone will never be as optimized as viewing on a device with a larger screen such as a tablet, laptop or desktop.
Blessings,
Ashleigh

Hi Angie!
Our goal is to continue to enhance CenterPiece so that viewing information works well on a iPhone. We do have plans to enhance the view of client, donor and staff files. This is an ongoing work in progress. Just keep in mind, due to small form factor, iPhone will never give you a great *data entry* experience that you get today when using tablet, laptop of desktop. It's just a trade-off. Hope that makes sense. |
