Is there a possibly that eKyros could include "No goods or services were provided in exchange for this gift" on the receipt?

Hi Jlkpr,
It's great to hear from you! I hope you are having a fantastic week. You have the ability to add text to your batch statements currently. Follow the steps below. If you have any questions or need further clarificiation don't hesitate in contacting us. Have a great day!

1. Login to CenterPiece
2. Go to Donor Management
3. In the sub-menu bar click "Receipting"
4. Along the left hand side click "Generate Statements"
5. Select your date range and any additional filters
6. Click Run Report
7. In the upper left hand corner you will see "--Select a letter--" to the right you will see a box
with 3 dots "..." click this box to add/edit your letter
8. Type the name of the letter, example "No goods or services"
9. In the white box below type your text "No goods or services were provided in exchange for
this gift"
10. Click "Save and close"

Hello,

I see that I cannot add the "spouse" field to my donor reports. I want to send a receipt that has both partners named so either one may claim the receipt.

Could this be added in the next update?

God bless you!

Hi Bill,
It's great to hear from you! Most centers, that want both names reflected, add both first names to the First Name field. For example First Name= John & Jane. Another option would be to utilize the title "Mr. & Mrs." because hte Proper name includes title, first name, and last name for an individual so it would display Mr. & Mrs. John Doe

I hope this helps!

Blessings,
Ashleigh

Hello, Ashleigh,

No, that doesn't help too much ... I've already put in the first names as single names of all our donors and many of them are women's names with husbands listed as spouse.

I would think that for a report like that, it should be set up to allow the one creating the report to include any of the fields in the donor input form.

For new users, if reports are so limited, it would be really helpful if the form indicated that reports do not allow you to include certain fields. This information would be most helpful before we spend days putting in hundreds of donor files ... I hope it can be fixed in the next update.

Thank you.

Hi Bill,

In the "List" view the Spouse column is included-- you could also add a custom letter and include first name and spouse name. The donation statement is pre-formatted with the Proper Name (title+firstname+lastname). Where would you like to see "Spouse Name" inserted or added? Just trying to get a full understanding of your request.

Blessings,
Ashleigh
